So this was my 4th or 5th time coming into the golf services area today. Itās usually a crap shoot as to what kind of service Iāll get. Staff is friendly and sports equipment is excellent, hence the 2 stars⦠I came in to get 2 golf clubs re-gripped. As stated before I have been in before for this exact reason and only ONE time were my clubs done efficiently and correctly. I have gotten everything from, thereās no one who can do that on staff to crooked alignment to an over 24hr wait for one grip another time. I understand that there may be a wait sometimes, not a big deal. Today I just wondered what it would be this timeā¦as I walked in to the golf area today I was greeted promptly and asked the gentleman if I could get 2 clubs done and he said, let me see if we do that service on the weekend, it was Saturday about 4pm. He left and came back and said that he could do them but there would be a 30 minute wait, again, NO problem. I showed him that the grips are great and on very nice Srixon ZX7 irons but that the grips are misaligned and was he able to do a good job and make sure the new grips were straight, he said yes and took them and the grips behind the counter, set the new grips on the counter next to his computer and dropped the clubs with a clang on the floor, didnāt throw them but didnāt lean them up carefully either, not a huge deal I guess but I take really good care of them, as they are expensive. He said he needed to get me registered in the computer, Iāve been in before so I knew the process. After about 15 minutes he still couldnāt get the computer booted up. Another customer approached with one club and wasnāt greeted or anything. He called on his radio and asked another staff member if he could register me on another computer. My confidence was fading away quickly. He told me we had to use another computer. He carried my clubs in one hand and the grips in another, as he walked the clubs just banging against each otherā¦we got to the computer by the canoes, didnāt work, off to the computer in shoes, no again. He then told me he needed to go in back to ANOTHER computer to which I responded, Iāll hang onto my clubs. How was he going to register me without me being there? I asked him if he could just start the job as the first computer booted up, to which he responded, no. My 11yr old daughter suggested we leave, asking, you donāt REALLY trust him to do a good job on the clubs?, I didnāt. So we left, no one in the whole store attempted to help or intervene in any way. He was a nice kid, polite for the most part but seemed VERY unqualified and lacked training. Not the best experience...

It was pretty bad. Ordered a bike online that was in stock at my local branch. Received a phone call and an email saying they were working on it. Then heard nothing for the next couple days. Then on a Friday, received a text saying that if I didn't come and claim the item, then the purchase would be canceled. So I high-tailed it to the store, waited in line, they called for the bike in the back, waited about 30 minutes... nothing. Then went through the line again, waited for 10 more minutes. Then they came and said that they haven't started the bike yet and that it was still in the box. I asked when they think it would be done and they said Monday or Tuesday of next week. I asked if the order was going to be canceled if I didn't do anything? They said no. They also said I would receive a phone call when it was done. Monday... nothing. Tuesday... nothing. The bike is for a birthday gift for my daughter, so I thought if I was going to have to put it together, then I'd better go get it no matter what. Got to the store, walked straight to the back and saw it hanging with my name on it. Waited in line, asked the gal to have them bring it. Then they said I couldn't have it until it was tested. They couldn't find the bike guy... 10 min later, he rolls in.
Basically I would have rather have put it together myself to avoid all of this. In fact, for my next kids, I'll probably just order it on Amazon and put it together myself and pay for a tune up at the local bike shop.
Pretty crummy experience for paying a premium because they are local... Won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst experiences Iāve had. There were several associates up front when I came in and still up there as I walked past several times as Iām looking for what I need. Not ringing up or anything just up there and not asking me if I needed help either when I clearly was looking for something, which I found on my own anyway. Then I went up there to ask for someoneās help with a punching bag I wanted to buy, the lady said she will send someone (why she couldnāt have just gone with me when she was clearly not busy is beyond me) I waited a good 5-6 minutes and no one, so I go back up, ask the same girl to send someone so she says she will again. Again, she and a couple other guys that were around were doing NOTHING and could have easily helped me. Finally someone comes to help and I want to buy it so he goes and checks and says there is one that is up high so he doesnāt want to get it down for me to see if the box will fit in the car I have so he shows me a picture. So I say Iāll get it. I wait up at the register another 10 or more minutes and he comes and says someone else had just bought it before me. Weird, cause the place was not that busy and you showed me a picture and no one else was in the back trying to get it down so now someone else bought it? I left buying nothing and wonāt return. Unfortunately, because of the crew there, I believe this place will not last which is clear that it struggles anyway. Terrible customer Service and lazy people...
