I don't have much experience shopping at Kohl's but I can say that I am not pleased with my most recent experience. I ordered a jacket on Black Friday 2015 online at Kohl's website, I received a confirmation showing that I ordered the correct jacket in the design that I wanted but when it came, it was not the correct style that I has bought. so I took the jacket into the store still with all the tags attached and with the packing slip and asked for an exchange since I didn't want to deal with sending a package back. They told me that I had to go look through the racks myself and go find the jacket in my size (assuming they even had it in stock) and that the price had to match up (I don't know why it wouldn't since I already paid for the specific jacket in the style I wanted). I'm not sure why they couldn't just look up the jacket on the computer sitting right in front of them to see if it was in stock in my size and the style I wanted, but I went to look for it myself anyways. sure enough, they did not have my size so I grabbed the only one left and brought it to them to show them the style I should have been sent and to see if they could order my size online. Then they wouldn't order it for me, they told me that I had to order the jacket I want online and then wait for it to come and then bring both jackets back into the store in order to exchange and get my money back. They then told me that I had to go over to a kiosk and look it up myself and order it. So I did and the jacket was not in stock online either so I went back to the customer service desk and asked when they might be getting restocked and I was given any time Monday through Wednesday as an answer. I then left with the same jacket that I walked in with. I will check back in store for the jacket that I should have been sent in the first place but I plan to make it the last time that I shop at Kohl's. I don't like the fact that they don't seem to care about the fact that they sent me the wrong item. They did not offer to look if the item could be in stock at other Kohl's, they did not offer to contact me in any way if the item came in stock at my city's store, and they were not even that helpful when it came to checking to see if they had it in stock in the...
Read moreSevice 10/10 I recently went in during Memorial weekend after suffering a loss in the family. I went in to just brows and look around, hoping makeup would possibly make me feel a little better. While I was checking out the makeup section, an employee by the name AJ came up to me and kindly asked if I needed any help looking for anything. I let her know that I was just looking around and not looking for anything specific. She complimented my hair, and it started up a conversation because I dyed it myself. She made me feel so welcome. She really doesn't know how much I needed that at that moment and really wanted to show some appreciation for her. We really need more people like her out in the world. She put a smile on my face when I wasn't feeling the greatest, and I believe something like that should never...
Read moreExperience was interesting, as we walked in no one said anything to us. They seemed busy, then a min later a group of people walked in and they were acknowledged. Not once were we asked if we needed any help even though we walked past several employees. Then as we were waiting to pay, we notice the cashiers were very talkative and spent a large amount talking to the customers. They asked "how is your day, any plans, and the question they always ask "do you have a rewards card or would you like to sign up for one" By the time it was our turn the cashier did not seem to happy in helping us she just seems very dry, did not say one word to us, just the price. She did not even ask if we were members. Not even a thank you for coming in. Hmm. O well, won't be...
