I have never been in this place and decided to try it. 6/20 at 1030. Three people working no one acknowledged me! Stood there for 20 minutes waiting on them to finish an order. Large family came in when I was thinking I’m finally next and they took their order meanwhile I’m confused because I’ve been standing there waiting the entire time. I speak up and ask if someone can take my order and remind them I had been waiting. They point to the cash register and say “order there.” I said I didn’t realize I had to order at the register and the skinny guy with glasses points to the sign and goes “it says right there to order” and he and the obese employee starts to smile and giggle to each other. I said “are you trying to make me feel stupid or something.” So now I have to wait even longer behind the guest that just walked in. They giggle again and said “order over there, Look at the sign” (as he literally points and laughs). Please review your cameras if you have any. I didn’t appreciate them laughing and blowing me off. I explained I had never been there and didn’t realize how this ordering worked. I reminded them that perhaps they any one of the three could have said hello, welcome can we help you, have you ever been here before? Nope, they laughed that idea off too. I get these are low paid probably will never give a dam kind of people but for what it’s worth try to apply some customer service principles , engage people and make customers feel welcomed and helped. Seriously I have a BSN and a Masters degree. I’m not stupid. Maybe a little confused how it works ordering donuts from them but I didn’t deserve to be laughed at or made to feel stupid and expected to start all over at the end of the line. I already waited 20 minutes. I turned around and left. I will never step foot in this place again and I will make sure everyone knows that they have toddlers who haven’t learned their manners running the place. Certainly not a $20 donut experience. Read moreOriginal post: “The place seems good but unfortunately I wasn’t able to try. It was raining a lot outside and when I went in we were asked to stand outside because there were more than 10 people waiting inside. Some common sense could have gone a long way here. I mean are they stand outside in a downpour waiting for 10 minutes kind of good? I wasn’t willing to find out.” The frustration is not that they are trying to limit the amount of people in the store but had no foresight to accommodate some sort of queue system instead of expecting their potential customers to stand outside especially in an obvious downpour . Their current wait outside system is fine in the sunshine but with inclement weather it is an oversight. From what I can tell the donuts are a hit but the customer service is left wanting. I’ll give it some time and try again.
Update: after reading the response from the owner I decided to give the new online order option a try: it was easy to use and the donuts were done when they said they were. I went to pick them up and coincidentally it was raining again, walked in and there were a ton of people inside, I was not asked to leave this time and was promptly given my donuts and left. The donuts were warm and quite delicious. They only have cake donut which is ok with me because I like cake donuts. The donuts don’t keep well so I would suggest eating them fresh. Changing my original 1 star...
Read moreGoing to add a three star here because the events were a little on both of our ends.
My wife and I went in to try it out for the first time. The manager who greeted me on the register did an awesome job of walking me though choice, options, and suggestions. She was friendly and fast, making sure we got taken care of while training three people behind her.
Our problem was the people who do the actual coatings and decorations. Our box was handled by a teen who... Just didn't care. Or rather, she was so preoccupied talking with her friend who was just in the store that she forgot she was being paid to do a job. She showed us the donuts, and they looked fine, although there was a lot of slopped toppings in the box, it wasn't until we got home and were looking at them while trying that we realized the powdered sugar donut I ordered was barely covered, and one of my wife's donuts was missing toppings.
Since it was our first visit we were sure how they were supposed to look, but after seeing other donuts online, I realized that the teen just didn't care.
That's why its a three star, the food was good, the service was good until the end. But part of the blame lies on us for not asking further questions.
As I look through other reviews, it looks like customer service is their biggest...
