Mill End Shops — Local services in Annapolis

I am an independent designer who has had for many years and continue to have, the greatest pleasure working with this group of ladies at this location. In the beginning, I had my own seamstress, so would come in only to look at their wealth of fabric books and trims. They were friendly, helpful in guiding me to the best resources for what I needed and would let me check out the sample books...or cut me a piece off one of the many bolts they had hanging. Now, years later since my seamstress has retired I have come to appreciate the company's ability to transform the basic piece of furniture into one with a whole new life! Their workmanship is top-notch, pricing is reasonable (especially when using their fabrics) and the time frame is well worth the wait...which is standard for this type of work. They can do reupholstery, window treatments, throw pillows, bedding, etc. You name it! I love coming here when I am in need of the perfect fabric because I am sure I will find it and will be greeted with a smile plus an offer of help...who can...

A few months ago I decided it was time to update the window treatments in my living, dining and bedroom on our first floor, and the comforter, bedskirt and pillows in our bedroom. After checking several stores, I decided to check out the Mill End store in Annapolis. In retrospect, I am so happy that I went there. Svetlana was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping me pick out the complementary fabrics, figuring out the exact measurements. Svetlana was just a joy to work with! Another lady, Erica, was also very helpful. The installer, Dave, did a wonderful job of installing the window treatments, and even came back to adjust the drapes in the bedroom as needed. Jay and his assistants did a prefect job of installing the cornice in the foyer. Everything turned out perfect in this multi-faceted project, so I am highly recommending the Mill End shop in Annapolis for any similar decorating projects. I will definitely use this shop for any future decorating...

Elliott and Svetlana have gone out of their way to make our many projects perfect, from draperies, custom rods, bed skirts, pillows and shade products, to making sure they have correct measurements. Dave, the installer, is another part of the team who goes out of his way to be accommodating and professional. For a business that has several locations, they manage to make you a priority which is a rarity nowadays. I...
