Disappointing Experience at Target Annapolis My recent visit to the Target store in Annapolis left me thoroughly dissatisfied due to the subpar customer service and operational shortcomings. The most glaring issue was the evident lack of staff, which resulted in excessively long lines at the registers. Despite the visibly overwhelmed cashier, additional employees seemed disinterested in assisting or expediting the checkout process. Moreover, interactions with both employees and the manager highlighted a disconcerting lack of customer service etiquette. When seeking assistance in locating an item, I encountered indifferent responses and vague directions that ultimately proved unhelpful. It was clear that the employees were more focused on completing tasks than on providing genuine assistance to customers. In one instance, a query about an advertised promotion was met with confusion and an apparent unwillingness to clarify or resolve the issue. The manager's response was similarly dismissive, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer. Overall, my experience at Target in Annapolis, underscored significant deficiencies in both staffing levels and customer service training. Until these issues are rectified, I would caution potential shoppers to manage their expectations and consider alternative shopping venues where customer satisfaction is prioritized and staff are adequately equipped to handle customer needs effectively. NEEDS SERIOUS UPGRADES AT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Sooooooooo....target. this particular store is not a first floor walk in with a sprawling parking lot but it does have an adjacent parking garage and easy access. Didn't visit during a high volume shopping time but the parking garage appears to be expansive enough to handle it. During adverse weather this is a real plus! Even though it's not universal across all of the items I did find deals that were actually marked down from even the online prices and very competitive. Moral of the story is maybe I roll the dice and check target more often before clicking add to cart on that not to be named retailer that starts with an "A" and delivers right to your door. 😉 Kind of an update here. Previously stated the parking garage was a huge plus but when it's crowded fend for yourself as a pedestrian. Secondly, made a huge mistake deciding to shop the men's clothing section. It seems this is NOT the big draw for Target shoppers and it shows. Did it become the single worst men's section I've ever seen after no one shopped there or vice versa? The good: nothing. The bad: very low quality with most items, suits or what they call suits are extremely low end with no prices to be found, zero pairs of pants over 34 inseam and much if the section is completely disorganized. True disappointment. Trust me, I looked at all of them.

Coming from a past employee just walking the store casually it seems to be falling apart at the seams. The store level leadership (Store Director and a few of her ETLs) would rather decide what's for lunch than getting the store looking like it used to. Just the other day going while I shopped I had nobody engage me, nobody was around to help find out prices of the disastrous seasonal section, and the shelves are becoming so bare. Honestly the team members and team leaders aren't supported enough, paid enough, or trained enough to fulfill their core roles properly. If the execs at Annapolis just listened to their team members and team leaders they'd have a good chance at getting the store back together. RIP Ellie, gone wayyyy too soon.

I am a pretty consistent Target shopper and I frequent this location. I've also worked in retail and the service industry; this review is not a jerk reaction. The employees they hired and retained from the holiday season require additional training. Overall complaint: Poor customer service

The service I received on Thursday, January 26, 2023, around 6:45-7pm was abysmal. Originally, picking up my order was convenient and a polite exchange. However, upon returning to my vehicle, I realized that I had been given an incorrect bag and returned to the store to receive the rest of my order. I understand that sometimes bags are misplaced or mislabeled; that was not my concern. However, the women at customer service were rude and inconsiderate. I informed the new employee (the original employee who retrieved my order was occupied with another customer) that I received the wrong bag and was there to retrieve the rest of my order. She was the most inconsiderate employee during this exchange and did not listen when I was listing off the items I was missing. She heard me say I was missing 2 items; I was missing 4 (I only ordered 7 items). She informed me that I would need to go through the store and retrieve my missing items; noting that I was charged for them already so I can retrieve them. What's the point of ordering ahead if I still have to go through the store? Fine, I know where everything I need is located in the store and I'm already late for my meeting, what's a few extra minutes. The new employee rolled her eyes and contradicted me when I returned to the counter with 4 items instead of 2. She consulted the original employee, who not only retrieved my order initially but also packed it. When I explained again which items I was missing, the new employee put the additional items in a bag and instead of placing the bag in my out stretched hand, she put the bag on the counter and shoved the handles of the bag to me, rolled her eyes, and turned away.

Mistakes happen, disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. Especially, when the customer...

Today is 6/24/19 . I came into the Target store just to find my new Pharmacy CVS. I asked a worker and. AlVA is Store # 2271 where I could find an electronic shopping cart. You see I had just come to the store from my Orthopedic Dr’s office, where I underwent getting medication shots in not 1 knee but in both knees. I’d been using my walker as a wheelchair because I don’t have a scooter or electric wheelchair. Long story short. Ms. AlVA went and got that Charle for me. She not only got it she assisted me into the chair and with a very sweet disposition and wonderful customer service she took my walker in the the customer service area where it could be stored while I went to find the pharmacy. All the while I was in excruciating pain due to not having such a medical prosecute in half s year. She told me exactly where I could find the Pharmacy and assured me that my walker would be fine. I’m so very thankful for her help and Assistance today. I was able to get my medication from the pharmacy as well as some small items that I wasn’t going to even attempt to buy because of my level of pain. Thank you Ms. Alva in Store# 2271 Annapolis MD . A person such as yourself should be training employees to be customer service associates . In my career I was a top recruiter for a Fortune 500 company . It was my job to find talent just like Ms. Alva. I hope that you See to it that Ms.Alva in store #2271 be promoted to a supervisor with high standards! She should be training your staff! Target, I’m glad that you hired mMs. ALVA . Warm...
