I have frequented this restaurant location since I was a kid. Over time, obviously things change and a big part of the progression of a large scale chain restaurant, is to meet the needs of societal changes...sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. The service here is usually outstanding, as long as you aren't trying to be "that person" that decides to walk in 45min before closing. (If you do that kind of thing, you deserve bad service anywhere you go in my opinion, not to mention, the staff members also have families to get home to as well.) -As for the food, the last 3 times I have eaten here over 3 years, it has been way below par, year by year getting worse. Please keep in mind the restaurant was less than half full on all 3 occasions. With that being said, one would typically assume a higher quality of food produced at that time. The pulled pork is usually way too greasy, garlic bread is hit and miss on freshness, mac 'n cheese is typically on point, the ribs are usually very greasy, and forget about ordering the brisket unless you don't mind paying to eat cooked fat. I have been shopping here literally for years. I have bought tools, weed eaters, movies and games. I even purchased my last 3 laptops from this store because they stand by their warranty and their word which actually means more to me. every now and then when you buy something that is made in the millions one or two slip by that is not to your satisfaction. that recently happened to me and I went in expecting a hard time getting my money back or at best store credit (which is fine). but they have a new manager and he, without me putting up a little hisyfit (we have all done this) about wanting my money back as there was nothing else I wanted at that time. he immediately satisfied my needs. normally it is store credit you get when you buy one of their warranty's. but as I said there was nothing for me at that time so he was nice enough to put all monies paid back on my debit card. (minus the layaway fee of course). that is what stand up people do in my book. heck yeah I would and will buy...

Love, love, love Sonny's BBQ Apopka! The St. Louis ribs, pulled pork and garlic bread are the best! I usually purchase the sides: fries, cole slaw and beans. Don't forget the corn nuggets and sweet tea! If, I decide to skip the drive-thru and eat in; I add the salad bar to my meal. Every year, I received a coupon for a free Birthday meal (pictured below)! There is never a long wait time. The place is always clean; including the restroom. The employees are always friendly and they ask, if there is anything else you need. They aim to please, the food is plenty delicious and that's why I keep going back...roll...
