Like some of the other reviewers have said, the Manager Jon is rude and the return policy is trash. Here's my story. Went to the Burnsville store to look for games to buy my daughter for Xmas. She threw a fit asking if we could buy some Cinnamaroll plushies. Ugh. Like we don't have enough of those!!! Being the sucker that I am, I obliged after being egged on by one of the staff. Gave them to my daughter for Xmas and they collected dust under the tree, so I decided to return them. Went to the Burnsville store, and they were closed. Ok, went to the Eagan store, also closed (and apparently has been for a while). I did a google search to see if any stores around me were still in business and found the AV store. Not really in my neighborhood, but I was making a trip there recently so I decided to try to return them there. The fella working at the store was so pleasant and was happy to return them, but the system didn't allow him to and he was unsure why. He offered to call his boss, which I appreciated. The boss told him no, because I had purchased them in late November (like plushies expire or something). The employee asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. Karen mode activated. Yes, I would like that very much. He hands me his personal cell (the employee was so sweet) and I explained to the manager how I had tried to return the product a while back at the store I originally purchased the item from, but it had closed. He tells me "he doesn't appreciate being bothered at home and there is no way he going to return these, no exceptions, cut and dry". When I asked about all the store closings around me and how I could be confident about buying anything from Gamestop again for fear they would close, he explained his store had nothing to worry about and it was the top performing store in the metro. His douche-baggery practically came out the phone and shook me. Man, I really hope that isn't true and I surely hope he doesn't see a cut of any profit. Poor Gamestop, what was once a fun store that gave you a "Blockbuster like" feeling of Nostalgia is now just a meme stock joke. I hear they are closing stores to raise capital so they can buy crypto. This is no longer a video game store people, its a corporate joke. So please, STOP going to GameSTOP! At least avoid this store so my boy Jon can find his place in the unemployment line...

I couldnât find the game that I was looking for so I talked to the person at the front desk and they were very nice and politely told me that this location didnât have it but printed out the location of a different Game Stop that did have it. I just decided to buy my friend a Nintendo eShop card instead because I was on a time crunch. When I gave this card to my friend we quickly realized it was missing its code and that the code wasnât on the receipt either. So I went back in today to see what could be done about it and there was a sign on the door that told me to wait for the worker (manager?) to come back. Finally, when he came back I went inside and told him that the card was missing a code and that it wasnât on the receipt either and he very defensively and rudely told me without further questioning that he canât do anything about it and that it was up to Nintendo and I to figure it out. It should be noted that he did not direct me to a number or a way I could contact Nintendo to get this issue resolved. I ended up giving him more information about my search and what people online told me to do and he just brushed it off and told me that was it. Since then I have talked to a very nice man at Nintendo who has informed me that yes, Game Stop was supposed to take responsibility for my eShop card. I would not recommend going to this store voluntarily and I am seriously disappointed in the inconsistency of the customer...
   Read moredo not n i say do not buy anything from gamestop all locations, cuz i bought 1 pack 4 glasses Kirby at moa before Christmas, after less than 2 wks used n 1 of glass was broken while I holding in my hand in December 26th, 2023, luckily i wasn't drinking, otherwise it gonna cut my lips sigh. anyway i tried to exchange in apple valley location n the guy said that he was manager in apple valley location, told me that i didn't have the receipt n i could not exchange in his location n asked to go to moa for exchange, its really extremely ridiculous, i had the gamestop bag n gamestop price sticker n i paid full price with my credit card, its huge mistake for this company, i dont recommend anyone to buy anything there n i will not buy anything from this company in the future. its not acceptable. thx for reading my feedback, the quality of Kirby glassware is really bad. the guy who claims himself manager is really bad...
