EDITED REVIEW: Unfortunately this place as gone to hell after Antonio left. Week after week my wife and I deal with burnt pizzas, incorrect toppings, entirely wrong pizzas - and we've never been offered a free pizza card for our issues, I literally had to ask for one. The day I'm writing this review, we dealt with a manager we've never seen before. After my wife and I were first brought out someone else's order, then brought out incorrect toppings on our pizzas, there was audible loud arguing from the kitchen (by the manager). Several construction workers sitting next to us (while we continued to wait for our correct food) all looked at us and shook their heads as the arguing continued. This is the absolute opposite to everything Tono's was before Antonio left. I don't think we'll be back. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My wife and I have been living in Apple Valley for nearly nine years, and we never had a weekly "spot" for food. We went to Tono's for their grand opening (I was quite intrigued during the months before opening) and we have now been going every week since. (I'd recommend Tuesdays, and ask about their Tuesday deal while you're there!). You are NOT going to be disappointed with your pizza or cheesesteak. My usual go-to for pizza is either Classico or Classico with pepperoni, and for cheesesteak I get a South Philly, cheese whiz, no onions (I'm weird), and add bacon. Oh, and the fries are actually great as well! Plenty of places will toss very cheap bargain fries in with your sandwich, but these are very good. Make sure to check both the counter and the small cooler next to the soda machine for a variety of dip options! Time to gush about the pizza: It's magnificent and VERY well priced (especially if you're getting two and it's a Tuesday!). Their custom brick oven is exactly what I've been craving for a place nearby to have. The crust, the SAUCE!, the toppings - there isn't anything off or sacrificed here. It's a perfect brick oven pizza - and it's ready FAST. Every single time we've gone I have seen either a manager or Antonio themselves running food out to customers or cleaning tables. Having chatted with Antonio a bit, it's clear that this is first and foremost about having great food at a great place with great people doing their best to help everyone.

So excited to have this new restaurant here in apple valley! Our two pizzas were absolutely delicious and were made quickly to order. Lots of folks dining in and getting takeout and our food still arrived quickly. The pizzas themselves were a good size for the price and tasted absolutely amazing. We were looking for this style of pizza and happened to stumble upon this new (to apple valley) one. I was not aware that this restaurant was all over the metro — so it was a nice surprise to learn Apple valley now has one! They also have three other sauces you can add to your order, including a BBQ, garlic aioli, and ranch. They have a whole bunch of specialty pizzas but you can add additional toppings for $2 each topping - which can add up quickly so just be careful! You can either order ahead for takeout or order at the front or at a kiosk. We will definitely be back.

First time in and we ordered a salad, the Beast fries, a sandwich and a pizza. It was a lot of food! Portion sizes are generous, produce was fresh and crispy. The bread on the sandwich was very tasty as were the veggies; the steak itself was very sparse so hard to tell it was a steak sandwich. The Beast Fries were our fav! The team forgot our drink cups (brought them when asked, so NBD) but then they also forgot our pizza. By the time we asked about it, we were too full to eat it so got it in a box. We sat outside which was pleasant with the evening sun. Certainly is worth a try, though we may stick to the pizzas for the future....

Disappointing first experience. Do not come here for fast takeout. I ordered a little before 5pm on a Monday, was given a time window of 20-25 minutes. The order was not ready until 20 minutes after the end of the original ETA window. The order was two sandwiches (Philly Supreme with no substitutions, additions, or removals were requested) sandwiches with fries (truffle and normal) and a drink. The order was missing the drink and we had been given two orders of normal fries, so no truffle fries for us.

It seems like the place inherited the AV Smashburger curse of being UNBELIEVABLY SLOW and messing up to go orders.

Food: The sandwich was 4/5, and the bread is good like multiple reviews mentioned. I tried the chicken which was pretty good, I appreciate that there are multiple protein options (steak, chicken, and impossible (fake) meat).

Service: Employee only acknowledged me after standing and staring at them at the pickup counter for a minute or two. They said the sandwiches were nearly done and should only be a minute or two. I watched them snack on food, play on their phone, and get a refill on their drink while I sat there. After about 14 minutes she asked what my name and the name of the person who had been waiting since before me were again. Magically my food was ready, pretty sure it had been done and sitting for a while. It was only warmish when I tried a bite in the car. There were only 5 other customers in the whole place, so they were not busy at all.

Atmosphere: The bench by the pickup area isn't...

Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE Tono. I’ve been to multiple locations and was initially introduced to the deliciousness by the Heritage Fire food festival.

We decided to try the new Apple Valley location yesterday and the food was as you’d expect - absolutely delicious. The service and location is where things really went downhill. We went around 3:30 and there wasn’t another party in the restaurant but almost every table was dirty. There was a JBL speaker on top of the refrigerator beside the fountain drink machine BLARING music. It was so loud the guy checking us out at the counter could hardly hear my wife as she placed our order. The speaker is 20 feet from the counter. We went over and turned the speaker down and waited for our food. Food arrived with no plates. I asked the guy who brought the food for plates. There was a severe language barrier so he didn’t understand what I was asking for. I got up and got them myself. When we were ready to go, I wanted to place a takeout order for a pizza to take home to the kids. I went to the counter and stood. 4 employees looked at me directly and never came over to take my order. Finally a girl came to get my order. I placed the order and told her where I was sitting. 15 minutes pass and no pizza. I go back to the counter and a guy asks what I need. I said I placed a to go. The pizza has literally been sitting and made and no one called my name or brought me the pizza. Food is an absolute 12/10. Service at this location is an...
