I was very disaapointed in the service we received at the Apple Valley T-mobile location. First, we called to discuss our warranty upgrade. The customer service representative gave the information and said we didn't need an appointment. We went to the store and waited about 20 minutes. Social distancing wasn't encouraged amongst the employees or the guests. There were children running around and touching all the phones. Also, there wasn't a limit on capacity for a small store and they kept letting people in. We waited 20 minutes for the manager and then he left us to help another customer. We had to wait for another 20 for him to come back. We tried to confirm that we were authorized users on the account and the manager kept saying no. He didn't assist in calling customer care and had us call them to confirm the information after all of that. Then we lost our spot and when we had other people travel to the store to help with authorization. They said they had another appointment and couldn't assist us. We left pretty furious at the poor customer service at this location. A lot of this experience could have been eliminated by having proper communication with your customers. And please practice social distance for everyone safety and sanitize your counter spaces after people use them! No visible hand sanitizer when I came into the store. I am pretty appaled about how this store handled the covid procedures....
   Read moreWe went here to get a new phone for my daughter that is currently part of a T-Mobile Plan. Somehow, store staff made a mistake on the account they actually charged the phone to (at least I think that's what happened , they weren't very clear on what the problem was and how they were going to solve it), they called my kid, left a message that "something was wrong with the transaction". Called back and they asked us to come back to the store, which we did. Then they still couldn't figure out how to resolve this and asked us to make an appointment to come back when the store manager and assistant manager were there, which we did. So we showed up at the appointment time and they asked what they could do for us ( my kid and I shrugged while looking at each other and said "you asked us to come back, we're not exactly sure what you need to do?!").
They did seem to have it figured out by then and we were only in the store for about 45 minutes for the 5th time we were in the store for this single transaction.
The people that helped us throughout this process were friendly and seemed to do they best they could to their ability and that was a plus.

So when I came down to setting up the phone all of a sudden they wanted almost 500 dollars down on the account and my account was pre-approved for more than the price of the phone. They were unable to explain to me why it was so much and it just didn't sit right with me so I decided to say no and left the store with out starting a new service with them, 2 weeks later I decided to try a different store and Sean helped me look over everything, seen that I had a bill coming up that was almost due and I asked how I had a bill if I wasn't a customer, he looked in to it and found that the other T-Mobile store had created an account and started to charge me even tho I said no and didn't want what they were offering. After some time Sean was able to clear up all the issues and take care of everything the other store and messed up. I was able to get the phone I wanted and he helped with all my questions.
