Beyond disappointed... My daughter and I went to get pedicures about a month ago. I got a full set of acrylics and she got a fill. Our first impression was it was a nice looking salon and the two people we initially worked with were SO INCREDIBLY NICE! So nice in fact, I had hard time deciding if I would share our poor experience. The woman who did my pedicure rounded all of my toenails, deep into the corners causing painful ingrown toenails on both feet. Their pedicure listed callus removal but she only made a few passes with the scrubber/pumice stone on my feet. The woman who did my daughter's pedicure made her bleed. Next we got our nails done. A different woman started doing my nails and didn't say anything to me but was chatting with another worker. Completely fine and normal. Then asked what color I wanted. And when I stated I'd like a French, she scolded me for not telling her at the beginning so she could fo pink and white. She rushed through my nails, leaving leftover acrylic stuck under my nails as well as made my white tips so incredibly thick (like half of my nail) and they were visibly uneven. My daughter was also unhappy with her nails. We ended paying a different salon later that day to fix them. This was frustrating, because we had already been charged just shy of $300 by DK nails for poorly done, rushed work. We just wanted to have some quality mother daughter time and ended up incredibly disappointed. We will not...

Why is it so tough to find a nail place where you’re welcomed ( not screamed at to PICK A COLOR!!or gossiped about or rushed ) AND can get a quality results ? Thought I’d found a gem in DK Nails after experiencing awful client service at several other local salons. Staff is welcoming and seem to be conscientious. Salon is clean. Unfortunately I’ve yet to get a dip manicure that lasts even two weeks. ( should ideally last 3). More often than not, I’m having to go back within a week to get a nail or two repaired . This is frustrating- who has the time for this? Today , I stopped in for yet another nail repair on a service that is only 6 days old. Rather than accommodating me. or even apologizing for the poor quality work, the gentleman/ owner told me there no way anyone had time for the quick fix and that I’d have to come back 3 hours later - or another day! That was infuriating! Who has time for that? I ended up going to another local salon for an all new mani - where the staff is terribly rude but at least my mani lasts 3 weeks!
