This was such a cool (little?) place and it was a pleasant surprise when I found out there was an IKEA in the Santa Anita mall!! Who would have thought??
They have a very decent selection for being a fraction of the size of a regular IKEA, but they have a lot of cool little things and useful items! I bought some new nonstick pans and pots, they are all under $10 each! 😳 I almost couldn't believe it! Also they had some really cute plain white LARGE bowls (think salad bowl that you can actually fit a salad in!) and they had large plates and small plates to match, which was awesome, and I think each item was under $3... I also got some really cute shot glasses (pack of 6) and those were reasonably priced as well... All in all I bought: 4 large plates 2 small plates 4 huge bowls 6 shot glasses 3 pans 1 pot 2 small rice bowls A carafe with a big cork (only way I know how to describe it) And an IKEA bag (99¢)
For about $53
And I'm sure I'm forgetting something too... There were more expensive items but I just didn't have the budget right now. I think about the chance I'll definitely go back again, BUT I will not go at the beginning of my trip unless I have something with wheels to be able to just push it through the mall instead of carrying it cuz it got heavy! (My fault though, I I was so excited to go that I wanted to go there first before anywhere else..lol) Or you can always take the stuff back to your car, but that's a whole other trip back to your car and inside the mall again.. and honestly I'm really not a fan of malls because I just don't like being around a bunch of people and walking on their floors for too long make my feet hurt tbh ..
Anyway, customer service was...
Read moreWe placed an order on April 2, were told the items were in stock and would be delivered soon, and that our associate (Danny) would stay in touch with updates. He never followed up or provided contact info, and when we tried to reach the store, IKEA’s customer service told us there was no way to contact Arcadia directly.
When we finally heard from Danny weeks later, we were told our items wouldn’t arrive until May—even though we could see online that they were available for next-day shipping. Both he and another staff member (Helga) denied any wrongdoing and never acknowledged the misinformation or delays. We were also quoted a $19 delivery fee and charged $39, even though the same items were available at another store (Burbank) with no delivery needed.
We asked for a call back from a manager—Helga promised one by the end of the day. It never came. We’ve now had to consider disputing charges and going elsewhere to finish our project. This was one of the most disorganized and dismissive customer service...

The word "store" is not in the title of this space so I don't understand the reviews complaining that it isn't a store. It's very convenient when you want to meet and design. Plus they do have a few smaller items that you can pick up. Store it is not.
I use this space is to have IKEA purchase delivered to a spot that is closer to home. They load it in the car for you as well.
Finally, there is always plenty of staff there to help and that's really...
