On Wednesday I went into Hobby Lobby at 5:15pm with the hopes that the framing department could frame a gift I had for my mother in law. I was leaving for Ohio early the next morning and needed it done that day. They closed at 8 and I didn’t get there until 5:15. I had every intention of going earlier but then my husband and I both came down with Covid. I had just gotten out of quarantine the day before I went into hobby lobby. I knew there was a possibility they wouldn’t be able to do it and I would have understood if they couldn’t. I may as well drive the extra time...

As someone who appreciates the finer things in life, I couldn't resist the urge to dive into their treasure trove of creative goodies. I mean, they have more canvases than a Renaissance artist's studio, and enough craft supplies to make Michelangelo jealous!
But what really tickled my funny bone was the "Mona Lisa Paint-by-Numbers" kit. Finally, I can make my own masterpiece and pretend I'm as talented as Da Vinci, though my smile might not be quite as enigmatic.
So, if you're an art and culture enthusiast with a sense of humor, Hobby Lobby is the place to be. It's like a cultural carnival, with a dash of creativity and a whole lot...
