I had a great experience with Anchal Designer Gallery! I was in town to shop for my wedding, and I found a lot of what I needed here. The prices are reasonable, and the two ladies working there were so sweet and helpful. It is easily the best shopping experience I have had. I found my Mehndi Night outfit, wedding lengha, and my mom's wedding and reception outfits here.

We also got custom bridesmaid and groomsmen outfits that looked fantastic. The communication for getting these with us being out of town was a little difficult at times, and they arrived a little later than I wanted, but still in time for the wedding and for alterations. I'm sure some of that delayed timing was because getting things made in India always takes longer than expected. The quality of the outfits was much better than I could have hoped for.

Shams and the other woman working there never pressured me or my family to buy anything or make decisions quickly. They had most of their things hanging up and they let you shop in peace - this is not the experience I had at almost any other store in Artesia. They allowed me to try on outfits without hovering around to make sure I didn't take any photos. (When I shopped at Frontier, the lady kept barging into the fitting room while I was half dressed to make sure I didn't take any photos. It was such a bad experience.)

The prices were very reasonable, too. Definitely more competitive than other stores in the area.

Also, my family was only in town for a long weekend, and they were able to alter our clothes within a couple days so we could take them home in time. The first time we tried on, there were a couple of tweaks that needed to be made, and they gladly made those changes quickly for us.

I love Aanchal's designer gallery! The selection is fantastic, prices are reasonable and most importantly Shams treats her customers with kindness, compassion and respect. It is the best shopping experience I have ever had at a boutique.

I am a soon-to-be bride with no family in California. The stress of finding my perfect outfits has been overwhelming, but working with Shams has eased all of my concerns. I found my wedding lengha the very first day I walked into Aanchal's. I was too nervous to purchase it immediately so Shams let me take pictures of it and then she offered to put it on hold for me until I was ready to purchase it. For the next month I would 'visit' my lengha until I was certain it was the one. She never pressured me to buy it during that entire month. She had the confidence that if I changed my mind she would be able to sell it. All of the boutiques on Pioneer should be treating their customers this way, unfortunately they don't.

I started that process again with my reception outfit.. and I love what I bought! Now I am working with her on my Sangeet outfit. She is constantly getting new inventory and staying in touch with me. I have been sending pictures of what I have in mind. I have complete faith that I will find the right outfit again with Shams' help.

I never review but I felt compelled to because my shopping experience at Aanchal's is unparalleled.

The worst experience. Do not purchase jewelry from this shop. I spent nearly $1,000 on various jewelry pieces for all of my wedding events with the owner Saba. Then, she entirely ripped me off! 3 out of the 4 sets of bridal jewelry that I purchased BROKE. Unworn, they simply broke because it's not quality AT ALL. She promised to fix the broken items before my wedding trip, but when I went to pick it up at the time that we AGREED on she suddenly said it was not ready!!! I had the broken items appraised by another jeweler and they said it could NOT be fixed. It was beyond repair! When I asked her for a refund or store credit because I knew it could not be resolved, she denied me! I don't live near her store, and she refused to send my necklace back to me through the post. SHE STILL HAS MY MONEY AND MY JEWERY. It's theft. It's unfair. I was a good customer and she failed to fix the set OR refund me. She did nothing to make it right. Beware, this shop owner Saba is nice at first, but her items are not quality and they will break on you, and when they do she will do little to help you or leave you entirely in the dust.
