Dear elegant nails owner
I have been a customer of your shop for almost 4-5 years, but my recent visits have left me outraged and deeply disappointed. The level of service I received during my latest visit was absolutely unacceptable and has completely soured my perception of your business.
From the moment I walked in, I felt utterly disrespected and uncomfortable. The staff appeared to be talking and laughing at me, making me feel incredibly self-conscious and unwelcome as a man. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect, regardless of my gender.
I was upsold a $40 deluxe pedicure, which was advertised to be longer and more comprehensive than the standard option. However, the entire service lasted a mere 25 minutes. The technician rushed through the process, skipped several steps, and made me feel as though she couldn't wait to get rid of me. This is not what I paid for.
After the pedicure, I was moved to a station for a nail service. I requested just a clear coat, but when I showed interest in a simple design, I was told about the free designs as advertised by the sign in your shop. I chose a simple design, thinking it was included as stated. At no point was I informed that the design I picked was not free. In the past, I have received more complex designs for free without any issues. The technician rushed through the entire process, didn't even bother to fully remove the previous clear coat before applying new acrylic, and completed my nails in about 5 minutes. She then added a basic design in another 5 minutes, totaling a mere 10 minutes of service.
My appointment was at 4:30 PM, and by 5:20 PM, I was out the door, having paid $100 before tip. This was for a deluxe pedicure and a nail rebase with a design that was supposed to be free but ended up costing me an extra $20. To add insult to injury, the technician and another staff member seemed annoyed when I was ready to pay, as if I was an inconvenience.
The sign in your shop clearly states that designs are free, but I was charged $20 extra for a simple design. Nowhere is it clarified that only basic designs like a flower or line are free, and at no point was I informed that my chosen design would incur an additional cost. This lack of transparency and deceptive pricing is unacceptable.
This experience has left me furious and disgusted. The total disregard for customer service, the rushed and incomplete service, and the hidden charges are beyond unprofessional. I felt unwelcome and unwanted as a customer, simply because I am a man. I will never return to your shop, and I will ensure that others are aware of the subpar treatment and deceptive practices at your establishment. If you want to stay in business, you must make immediate and significant...
Read moreWhere to begin. It was Mother's Day and we knew it would be busy. My daughter was treating me to a set of nails. We called ahead and were told that they weren't taking appointments. Okay. We go in right after they opened and it WAS busy, but a half hour wait we could deal with, no problem. After waiting about 20 minutes some girls came in and said they had an appointment!!! 🤔 WHAT?! They were taken right away. That was the FIRST thing that irritated me. I was looking at the polish to pick a color and there were bottles everywhere! And most of them seemed old. I started noticing how dirty this shop is. The cleanest thing there are the pedicure tubs, as they use new liners each time. But other than that, it's just gross. Time to get nails done. I get a lady who was perfectly nice...UNTIL, I sat down at her station and there were nail filings and dust ALL OVER the station. I only wanted the basic $20 full set, not the $33 set (gel or shallac or whatever it was) Anyway, when I declined, that's when she became not so nice. I tried to make conversation, but she wouldn't reply. She was seriously looking around and not really paying much attention to what she was doing, speaking to other workers in her language, which is very rude. One time, even answering her cell phone! RUDE! She didn't listen to my request for square with round corners. She left the corners pointy and when I asked her to round them off, she gave me so much attitude! She STILL didn't round them properly. She yelled at me when I put my hand on my arm. Which I HAVE to do sometimes because of a medical condition. Fast forward to the end. I looked at my nails after they dried and I was incredibly disappointed! Not only are they the wrong shape, they were so poorly done, that it looked like I had already been wearing them for 3weeks and need a rebase! She didn't fill them in properly! I will NEVER go back. I will NEVER recommend them. The ONLY reason I give them one star is because there's no option for half a star, which I would give only because my daighters' nails were done properly (for the most part) and she was happy with them. Ladies! Save your time and your money! Go...
Read moreSo a little after 10am I show up at the business to get a nail repaired. The gel polish began splitting from my thumb nail. No biggie, so I thought! I walk in and show the young girl up front my thumb and she starts speaking in her other language to a nail tech. She is telling me that it will be a 40 minute wait and I say "OK", but then she tells me that she is informed that I have to wait outside?!?!?! I have been here many, many, many times and have NEVER been told I have to wait outside. Remind you, there are other people in shop waiting and many open chairs available to sit on but I don't say anything and agree to wait outside. Well upon waiting outside I witness people walking in to the shop and I was just baffled. They are not coming out to wait so I go inside and these people are sitting at stations waiting. I tell the same young girl what is the problem and that this in not right!?!?!?!? I paid for my nails and just got them done a few days ago to have this issue happen too soon. She states she doesn't understand why the nail tech told her to tell me to wait outside and blah blah blah. She then starts speaking to the nail tech in their language and then she tells me all of a sudden nail repairs are at 12pm, there's apparently a sign that's not too visible. Had I seen the sign earlier then I would have just came back but the sign is NOT visible upon the entrance of the store, the angle I was standing. I share with her that the way I've been treated is unfair and unjust and again she states she's just translating and doesn't know why they told her to tell me to wait outside. Looks and sounds very sketchy to me! I pretty much walk out and within minutes I get a call back from the translator and tells me it's my turn. The odds of that all of a sudden!!!! I walk in and am told to take a seat and show them the problem. The original girl that did my nails happens to show up and looks at my nail and asks where it's splitting??? Took less than 2 minutes to "fix" the nail but with an unfortunate treatment of what was a loyal...
