The responses to the low rated reviews that the owner gives should show everything about the way they treat their customers. There is a reason the store has 3.6 stars and it's due to such unprofessional ways of treating paying customer's. I now give this place the lowest of stars to my own experience. I won't support businesses that treat people for just being poeple badly and you shouldn't either. I had even bought twice from here before! Everyone in my group loved my new outfits so I decided to bring my friend back to the store so I could show her how cute it is and where I got them from. But the two people working in the store were entirely different people from the first two encounters, very unprofessional and rude towards us from the begining told them we were just browsing to see what we wanted to get. My friend grabbed a shirt to have me look at and the guy behind the counter yelled so aggressively "DO NOT TOUCH THAT! IT IS FULL SERVICE!" We were both so embarrassed not realizing, or seeing as they don't have signs that say not to touch the clothes. We then realized the only person who should be embarrassed was him for treating customers this way... so distasteful, it's 2023 not the 1950s still, people just don't treat customers that way and get away with it these days. Im glad my friend just had us leave after he yelled, otherwise I would have bought more! To say the least sadly I wouldn't be bringing anybody else here, including myself. Unless maybe I want to get...
Read moreI have always admired their style, and until this year, I never noticed menswear. But this year, they feature some nice menswear, and I was excited to check them out.
Letâs just say I was more excited to be there than they were to see me.
The ladies who worked there pretty much ignored me. Tried as I might, I was not able to get them to pay me any attention or answer my questions about sizing. But a gentleman came to my rescue. The changing rooms were full, so he said it was OK to try the shirt on and put on the swim trunk over my shorts. It was going well until he was called away while helping me.
Then the owner decided to pay attention to me, and she did not approve. She started scolding me about not trying the clothes in a changing room. When I tried to explain, she raised her voice even higher, then mumbled something under her breath.
Did I walk into a feud? Am I, not the type of customer they want in there? I can only say that they did not talk to the other customers like they talked to me.
Their designs may be upbeat and welcoming, but not their staff unless you are somebody they...
Read moreNew Orleans is now also cursed with this business. It is a an overpriced store of questionable quality with amazingly bad customer service. The owner Tara is very very pushy and operates on an antiquated "No Returns" policy usually reserved for shady used car lots. Despite the dress pattern smudging after a couple wearings, my GF was still ok with that purchase, however Tara also pushed 2 ridiculous pairs of glasses,.lipstick and a purse into the sale. Returning sunglasses that have never been worn, even if it is just for store credit would be the least a shop owner should do, but no. Instead, the owner fell back on "it's a store policy" even though it is her store and she made up the policy. I guess this is the kind of business practice that should be expected when you are not actually a shop keeper, but a failed cabaret singer.
Edit... You feel defensive because you know you are in the wrong. Thats why you have a policy not even Walmart agrees with. Making up stories about me shouting or getting even 10 feet from you is no help. Good luck on your New shop in N.O. ...it's not...
