Straight to the point: extremely nice staff wife said “very nice curation” which knowing my wife that’s a HUGE compliment kid said “very nice to kids” and hey, being nice to kids in a record shop… that’s a way to give them the opportunity to find their musical appreciation and taste.

The staff was incredibly helpful once we made a selection and built on top of where we were, which I really appreciated, versus getting some some additude or some randomly off music recommendations. Anyways I’m babbling

SUCH A LOVELY RECORD...

What a cool shop! A wide range of comics– lots of independents, and outsider comics, a few shelves of trades, including Marvel, DC and Image etc. A table of really nice art books (Frazetta, Haring, Mignola), with something to please everyone. A handful of long boxes to finger through. Great for grabbing something to read on the sand! Nice vinyl collection, with a variety of genres and eras. The owner is passionate, friendly and deserves thanks for bringing this doorway to art, literature and music to anyone enjoying...

Sadly I wasn’t able to stop in and buy anything before leaving town, but this guy has a solid collection and great taste. I only talked to the owner for 10 minutes but super welcoming and willing to talk any type of music, and obviously knew his stuff.
