Paramount Theatre — Attraction in Asbury Park

Very nice, historic venue. Looks like it may have been an old movie theater or opera House in it's hey day. The acoustics were quite good and I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the hypocritical security lady ( you know EXACTLY who you are!) Told me I couldn't take video, as there were clearly 3 other people doing just that directly in front of me, whom she said absolutely NOTHING to! We drove over to NY last summer to look around Asbury Park and the boardwalk. This beautiful building houses the Paramount Theatre and the adjoining Convention Hall. It sits right on the boardwalk and the beautiful beach. A great place to take a walk on the boardwalk and walk right thru this building to continue on...

Good, comfortable seating. Clean environment. The sound and stage we're nice. There was plenty of parking in the area on the streets but is was during the off season. The boardwalk had plenty of restaurants and food. The theater building also has shops and food. All in all, it was a nice place to visit...
