Asbury Park Boardwalk and Beach — Local services in Asbury Park

You might think that they would accommodate a little bit bc of COVID but they still had patrons crammed into tiny parts of the beach while wade parts of the beach were unused... then when people would swim outside the ropes to try to stay socially distanced while at the beach, the lifeguards would corral them back into the COVID stew they had created. To be clear, the parts of the beach that people weren't allowed to swim in were close to the rocks, but nobody even got within 20ft of the rocks, the rope is about 200 ft away from the rocks, and that's more than enough room to let patrons swim without them being at risk of washing up...

My favorite beach in New Jersey! Very clean, great food options and amazing sand/water. I have gone every weekend I could with my wife and son. You have to get there early as there are limitations on entry due to covid. 9am is when the tickets are sold onsite (only credit card I believe). You can try and use the app viply and buy the day before but I had tried all summer and never was successful as it was sold out in what seemed...

Nice Beach, lots of families, showers on the way out. Lots of public restrooms, however not very clean or maintained. You can park like 3 to 4 blocks away for free. If that's too far you can park one to two blocks away and pay for parking. Beach tags are only $6, and can be purchased with a credit card right before you enter the beach. It's a bit cheaper than...
