Harbor Freight — Local services in Ashtabula

Got a gift card and decided to shop at harbor freight here in Ashtabula. I had to do a return on a product I bought that I never used. Went back into the store to try and get a credit because I no longer had the gift card that I initially bought the product on. I went and talked to the cashier lady. Didn’t catch her name I want to say her name was Amanda older lady. she was extremely rude, when I tried to tell her I wanted a return but used a gift card I no longer had, the cashier decided not to listen looked bothered. Decided to do the return and said all done. So I started to walk out with the product I bought from them, she said you can leave that at the wall. I said no I explained to you my situation and she didn’t care. People that were waiting in line said it’s kinda sad you get treated like a criminal. So we got the manger. Explained our situation she was better with helping, rather than the lady cashier who was extremely rude. Guys need to consider looking at some of your employees and how they treat people. I will no longer come here, nor shop at harbor freight ever again. Customer service was no help, no store credit and I spent over 100.00 here...

As a first time home buyer and frequent DIYer, Harbor freight is like a candy store to test all the things I think I need. Do I need a chisel set? Well I have one now. And if I need a better one, then I know I can go somewhere and get a better one. But for setting doors, it works excellently. So far in the past week I have bought a ladder, a generator, a door installation kit, a steel hole drilling set, spades for drilling holes, a fiberglass hammer, a bucket, a 12 ton pipe jack, and all have worked amazingly. I needed a few pipe jacks to fix a sagging floor and they worked amazingly. I cannot believe how fun this store is. Join ITC and have a blast. From fixing cars to normal DIY repair, this is the place. I personally would never buy their power tools, but their generators, jacks, hand tools, and toolboxes...

Super clean and super organized store, probably one of the best stores in town cleanliness wise and organizationally. Harbor freight should be so proud of this store and most of the employees are absolute gems. I received the best help from Sara, she was very friendly, kind, and a real treasure. I was cashed out by Sherry and my son was so appreciative of the stickers. And on a previous visit, I was helped very thoroughly by Chris and Melissa.
