Unfortunately, our experience tonight was disappointing. I noticed that the menu prices had increased- and that salad is no longer included with the meal. That was frustrating. Our waitress was not the most attentive or professional. Just an example: while she was walking passed our table with our basket of bread, she said "take this guy" to my husband. Instead of taking 30 seconds to place our basket on our table- she made my husband grab the basket out of her hands while she walked away. And calling him "guy" instead of sir was unprofessional. I also observed her sitting at a booth while talking to her coworkers- she had lowered her mask and had her elbow on table with her hand on her chin and covering her mouth. I completely understand the need for a mask break every now and then- but she should try not touching her face in front of the customers she's serving. My husband said his meal was good (hense the 2 stars) but my meal was disappointing. Instead of crab alfredo- it was buttered noodles with crab meat. Very disappointing experience- we won't be...
Read moreMy husband and I visited the Ashtabula Red Lobster on Thursday, October 1, 2020. We were all excited to have steak and lobster. I ordered the 6 oz. filet, med. well and a lobster tail and my husband ordered the 7 oz. sirloin med. rare. and a lobster tail. My meal started with a Caesar salad and rolls. That was delicious. When our meals came, the waitress and runner did not even know which steak was which. They said my meal was the filet and it was obviously a thin piece of sirloin well done. They said my husband's meal was the sirloin and it was obviously a raw in the middle filet. The cooks and servers didn't even know the cuts of meat and the cooks were way off on how to cook steak. A complete fail. The lobster tails were scrawny. Mine was good, but my husband's was a mushy piece of seafood that looked leftover and reheated in hot water. The server took $10 off for the inedible lobster tail. The meal was very disappointing and we will never go to this Red Lobster...
Read moreThis was my first time going to red lobster and It was not my choice. I personally don't like seafood so I got a burger and fries. Others got some stuff with lobster and a salad. And kids got just normal kids food. The burger was mediocre at best. Ordered with no tomato and received with wilted lettuce and tomato. The salad we received was prepped and stored in the bowl that came out ice cold and absolutely soaked in sauce. The lobster was like rubber and they also got that sauce from the pasta on the burger bun. It seems the kitchen is a mess. The drinks where made well and the service was good but kind of absent. We spent a lot of time just waiting for our server who was super friendly and helpful just hard to find. The cost of the food was not worth...
