Have always loved browsing Kirklands in store items, and have made purchases over the years. Yesterday I was greeted by a friendly clerk who told me it was a good day to shop. All outdoor items were 40% off and all others were 20% off. I found a front door mat I liked and she checked me out. I asked why the mat was only 20% off. She proceeded to tell me it was meant for indoors. I told her i had never seen a mat like that for in doors, plus it said "welcome " on it. Today i read a small label on the back that said "use outdoors only". Also, when I checked out and took my card out of the reader after the transaction, she said it hadn't gone through. So I put my card in again and it was declined for duplicate use. She explained that I must have just used the card somewhere else. I replied yes, i just used it here. She asked me if i wanted to try a different card. I said no. She said oh wait, we can try it on a different register., which we did. Now I'm wondering if I was charged twice....
Read moreI needed to exchange a large wall clock I bought from a Kirklands store in Madison. For some reason the clock hands kept getting stuck at 9:45. I live in Kaukauna and called the Green Bay Kirkland Home store to see if they had this same clock in stock. They did, and they let me exchange my broken clock for a brand new one, at no cost (and with no receipt). I arrived at the store, they had the new clock waiting, and the exchange took all of 1 minute. No questions asked, no hassle. It was awesome! Such great...
