My brothers and I attended the Aspen Summer Hockey School at Aspen Ice Garden in 1969 and 1970. It was run by "Badger" Bob Johnson along with many top D1 coaches. My twin brother and I were goalies and were coached by Dave Peterson who coached a top Minneapolis high school team. He went on to coach an Olympic team. I haven't been back there since then and I'm kicking myself because I visit my two boys often who live in Denver. I'll be visiting this rink on...

Hiding behind a mandatory mask mandate which doesn't exist right now (it's recommended not mandatory). Employees yelling at people for not wearing a mask and then don't wear one themselves. Very minimal seating and a poor setup overall. You would think for an ice rink in Aspen it would actually...
