Very pleasant relatively easy hike, but definitely recommend Waring hiking shoes or sneakers within hiking trail grip. The trail has a lot of smaller and moderate size loose rocks and is mostly single track so don’t expect to be walking side-by-side with your friends. The trail has some pleasant Valley Vista’s but no breathtakingly stunning views. Also, as serene and peaceful as the photos look, if there’s any construction or wood chopping occurring in the valley, you will hear it reverberating up on the trail; in other words it can be deceptively noisy.
