Mix feeling...a friend of mine recommended this place so getting there a Saturday night and waited 1 hour to be seated was "normal". By the way, right underneath a bar called Hooch makes tasteful cocktails and made the waiting time much more enjoyable. Once seated, everything started on the right foot, great service, nice Waiter and a mouth watering menu. The starter was the Meat & cheese board. A selection of curated meat & cheese, it was good but wayyyy too small for two. After that we ordered the Butcher board & the Colorado Lamb. It wasn't bad at all but the dishes were lacking of work for the price tag... it's too simple or too expensive but something is off with the way the dishes was designed. Dessert was ok, nothing special there but satisfied our sweet tooth....here comes the bill, charged for "homemade sparkling water" turns out to be the soda water from the soda fountain...then you realize that you picked among the most expensive items of the menu but you clearly didn't get what you expected (life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get). But a part from that the fact that they charge a 4% credit card fees on a debit card makes me regret the whole experience. I could understand on a credit card... but not on a debit card...they tried to justify as they could but i know that most of it was just plain BS. They are pushing it, and for me it went too far. Can't say it's not a good and legit restaurant, but they are clearly squeezing every dime out of you which made the all experience less attractive...be aware or...
Read moreTerrible! The worst place in all of Co!! The tables are dirty, the cheese is left out & the is not fresh. It belongs in any ordinary town. The owner & her daughter run who think they are more entitled than the wealthy clientele that dine here. I have never come across a more rude & disgruntled owner. She serves nothing special are her low budget food quality restaurant w/cheap decor, cheap quality meats, cheap dining experience on the sidewalk, even cheap chairs. This place is not Aspen quality. The prices are Far more expensive than the best NY deli w/the worst quality you can find in a supermarket. Don’t waste your time, instead go to the most amazing Deli in town The Butchers Block. It will blow your mind!! It is gourmet & one of a kind. They have all kinds of meats & cheeses that are fresh & over the top delicious. They even have several types of Foie Gras, all kinds of fish, crab & MUCH MUCH more. They make amazing sandwiches & there soups super as well. This place deserves 5 stars while the over rated Meat & Cheese deserves 0 stars. They have 0 redeeming qualities, just ordinary at best for a price of a gourmet French restaurant. It’s a BIG JOKE. The owner thinks she knows everything about how to operate a successful restaurant except she forgot that quality &...
Read moreThe food service and quality of this restaurant will blow your mind.. Ok!! We found this restaurant by a coincidence because we parked near,.. and let me tell you, it was one of our highligts in our trip. We drove from Orlando to sumer rest on our first Rv trip and we decided to visit Maroon bell (another must go if you have the time).. and by chance we end up making a quick visit to Aspen. What a plasure in tasting, dining and just enjoying our evening we had, we tasted a local colorado beer and our waiter even told us the story of this one guy brewery that made the most delicious localy brewed 🍺beer (ask for it) then we had a meat and cheese board that started blowing our sences with a brie and 3 tipes of meat with craker and a mermalade from another world (that you just have to try) and for the main course we had a steak board plate and it was delicious. And they were so attentive You could tell that theyre all about the service from the managers owners to the chefs. They gave us a great service jus 5 stars.
