Location is great for walkability. Pool (really a large hot tub) is a nice feature although getting to it can be a weird trip up & down stairs depending upon what unit you're in. Units are vintage 60's, but kitchens & some bathrooms have been updated. Heating was a problem in bathroom. Furniture is old, too large for the size of the units and not very comfortable for hanging out. Some of the beds, at least in studio aren't great. Our friends reported that their unit Murphy bed required one person to crawl over the other to get out. The loft bed wouldn't be legal today. But then I realized that most hotels in Aspen will charge you more than double the rate of this place, and you have a full kitchen so you can also save a lot of money by not dining out every day. It's a great option for those wanting to visit Aspen without spending a ton of money, and we were very comfortable during our stay. I would consider the price mid-range, but for the Aspen area it would be considered budget. Everything in Aspen was within walking distance. Very convenient for skiers. The room was clean and modern with a small kitchen and many appliances and dishes. The pool was awesome, nice and hot after a long day of snowshoeing.
