Forsythea — Local services in Astoria

My favorite store to find gifts- whenever I'm in Astoria! Forsythea is full of beautifully curated gems: home &garden, barware, bath/body, candles, and cool accessories. I found the perfect gifts for my girls with Monica's help. I came into the store wearing my mask and was delighted to see she had one on as well. Having the public in and out of businesses is a risk for getting sick for visitors and employees. Kudos to you, Forsythea. Monica also introduced me to several items that are handmade by local artists and craftsmen. Shopping local is important whenever I visit a place I love to visit. Thanks again for your help Monica. Arrived before posted closing time and they had closed sign up, but still people inside. Asked just to make sure they were actually closed as I just wanted to grab a baby book and go. Treated rudely and no “sorry, please come back”. Well, I won’t and I’ll be sure to tell my Clatsop County friends who shop and support downtown during the non-tourist season to avoid this establishment. This is unfortunate.
