Lucy's Books — Local services in Astoria

Lucy's Books is my favorite bookstore! It is local to me and when I run out of reading material and am feeling that need for some more new reads, I browse Lucy's. As I go about my days I often write the names of books I hear or read about and order the books from Lucy's. I will get a call when my books are in and pick them up. I stopped here while traveling through Astoria! The interior was very nice and so were the staff. It was a little picked over when I came in but it was after memorial weekend so that’s understandable. The woman working the counter said that the bookstore has been around for 30 years but has recently switched locations and owners. I got 2 books there that I had been wanting. My husband and I happened to see Lucy's Books at the end of our vacation in Astoria. We were happy we did. The store is organized well and not overwhelming like some bookstores. They also have some really neat games, puzzles, and fun gifts. Also, good local postcards for the best price. I buy a lot of postcards and stickers when I travel and had already spent quite a bit on postcards.
