Words cannot describe my negative experience at this shop. Me and my friend were on a joyous vacation near Astoria, and both of us being vintage shoppers we decided to take a trip to this shop. Unbeknownst to us the terror that would come next. The store itself was nice, well decorated, smelled good, and although high prices, I can see the vision. I asked a few questions to the owner and immediately through the responses felt an intimidating aura. Standard questions like do you negotiate, what’s your most expensive item, and prices on some display pieces. As me and my friend exited the store the presumed owner followed suit and asked us what we were grinning about. Surprised we responded with “what?” He then asked us where we were from, and demanded we show respect to him. I am an extremely active member in the vintage scene in Northern California and have been to multiple shops, never have I faced this. He then decided to ban us for life from the shop. It’s his right to do that reasonable or not. Me and my friend walked up the stairs and said “what’s that guys deal?” This is when things get crazy. The man closes his shop, follows us upstairs, watches us enter our car, and tracks us leaving. As we passed him my friend escalated the situation slightly by wiggling his tongue at the owner (uncool to say the least). The owner then met us at the corner of the street and demanded that we exit our car. Me and my friend are both obviously minors, and were afraid the man would try to fight us, or potentially something worst. We drove off and he followed for a few seconds on foot. End of the day cool shop, nice pieces, good decor, cool co worker, not very cool owner, 2/5 star experience. Not allowed back but if invited I would go back to try and smooth...
Read moreWhat an amazing place! Such a cool and well organized vintage store! Extremely well curated & decorated! It took my expectations for a vintage store and blew them out of the water. I was a little worried they would be expensive but I found most items to be very affordable, especially with this level of curation. The owners were so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable when I had any questions and made me feel right at home. Definitely add this to your list of places to stop when...
Read moreThis place is a must visit in Astoria. Yeah Astoria is a cool beach-type town with all the predicted shopping that goes along with that yada, yada, yada that's great. But if you like vintage pop-culture and flyness go here. Literal gem of all gems in Astoria for for anyone in your life with street style of any kind. Plus, the people who own it/run it/work there were so kind and cool. Do yourself a favor and go there. I'm from out of town and even I can tell you this is THE...
