They offer the most horrible service!
I went there to buy 2 very specific things. I didn't know where they are, so I was hoping for some help.
A girl near the cash registers said hello as I walked in--and I was the only person who entered--but no one was looking at me so I think she wasn't greeting me. And as I walked in, another employee--a man--was standing alone in the middle of the entryway doing nothing, so I thought he would offer help. Nope! In fact, he turned away the moment I made eye contact with him. Wow. So I continued on.
I walked down nearly every isle, but never found those 2 items. I walked near several employees. It was obvious that I couldn't find what I was looking for, but no one offered help. No one! In fact, 2 others also turned away the moment they realized I was approaching them. So I decided to leave.
Someone finally offered help, but only as I was walking straight to the front door.
I told him what I was looking for, and he just pointed to where he thought they were. Just pointed! He didn't even say anything!
When I asked what he was doing, he said: "I think the one thing is on that isle over there." He wouldn't show me or go there to make sure.
"The other is in the hardware department", he said. Really? This is a hardware store. I told him that I don't know where that is, and asked that he show me. He gave out a huge sigh and reluctantly started walking.
I asked him what his name was, then went up to the front and requested to speak with the manager. The man said his name is John.
Another man arrived about 1 minute later. He never identified himself. He did not say that he was the manager--I had to ask him--and he never gave me his name. However, he did show that he was VERY disinterested in what I had to say.
And as I was explaining in detail what happened, another customer came forward and said the same thing just happened to her.
It is comical how places such as this complain that big box stores like as Home Depot are putting them out of business. But they deserve it when the serve their customers...
Read moreI dealt with an employee that was very unprofessional but I spoke to the manager the next day and feel confident that problem will be addressed. I had gone in to have copies made of keys and first time, with not good employee, neither of my keys worked when I tried them at home. Second time, a very nice young man helped me and I going him delightful. Got home tried the keys, one worked the other still didn't. Ended up going back and forth a total of four times, with the store manager making the difficult key herself... Got home, still didn't work but they really did their best and I know they would have tried again or refunded my money for that key. I decided not to stress over it and just write that one key off. Just going to plan B of leaving my original key with person watching my house when I go on vacation. But they really tried their best and I will continue to shop with them. Good people,...
Read moreOur go-to hardware store as it's close to home and usually has what we need. They offer just about anything a bigger store offers in a smaller footprint, although I would recommend getting some help with some of the bulk inventory items in the back and side as it's not laid out as spaciously as a box store. I've never seen this location under staffed even in the busiest of times which is refreshing. They have no problem with you bringing your car or track into the side lot once youve paid to load up your goods even though it may seem narrow or restricted. You can access the lumber etc. in the side from the main gate, a side entrance near the front, or a door in the far back right of the store. Usually have some cool local food goods...
