I wanted to replace my 2006 Chevy Silverado radio (garbage) with a hands-free, Apple Play capable radio before the hands-free law began. I looked around several places. The big box store told me it would be four weeks until they could schedule me. Dr. Audio told me to come Wednesday. I scheduled him on Friday for the following Wednesday. He ended up also replacing my door speakers, which were also garbage. He was competitively priced, and he picked up and/or had on hand everything I wanted. I’m convinced he could have performed the installation blindfolded. I’m very excited about the new radio and new sound! I would use him again without hesitation. It’s worth at least giving him a shout if you’re in the market for new sound in your vehicle. It took him roughly 90 minutes from start to finish, and that was with me trying to talk to him about everything. (And, it appears he also does TV installs! I’m keeping this in mind for later as well!) I’m...
Read moreI needed to replace the OEM CD player in my truck. After having a pretty negative experience with another business, I read the reviews for Dr. Audio and gave Doc a call. He asked me several questions about my truck and what I was looking for, and then said he’d get back to me with what he recommended and a price. I expected to hear from him late in the day. He called back in about 20 minutes and gave a breakdown of his pricing (which was less than I expected) and said he could fit me in the next day. We discussed the possibility of having to replace all 4 speakers in my truck, but when he listened to them he said they were fine and didn’t need replaced. I’m extremely happy with his work and with the unit he installed. It sounds great and his workmanship speaks for itself. He’s a good guy who won’t try to sell you something...
Read moreI don't know how he's got such a good rating on here. Not only was he rude to me whenever we text messaged and needed payment immediately, He installed new speakers with my head unit and they sound worse than the OEM speakers. When I mentioned it to him 30 minutes after I picked it up and tried to adjust the equalizer to make it sound better, he said he doesn't take returns. Upon looking up the serial number for verification of a real product. I found they were counterfeit. He won't take these speakers back and I guess I'm just going to throw them away and put my originals back in. Guy's a waste of money (900 out the door) and a scammer. Also I could do without the stories about your mom in the hospital. So if you'd like to spend about $1,000 on a $300 head unit and some counterfeit speakers, this is the...
