One of the worse experience I’ve ever had, is really an understatement! After getting all measurements done in a timely manner I thought we was good to go. I was soooo wrong. I literally was in tears the day before my wedding! Let’s start with my announcers, my 2 nephews. One of their pants were so short that they looked like gauchos & his shoes were too small. They only had black shoes in the store so they offered us those. But when we said he’s not going to be the only with black shoes they suggested we go to some store(I can’t remember the name of the store) & buy some. Really!!! Then my other nephew pants had to be 1-2 feet too long, his shirt & jacket was too big. 5 out of the 6 groomsmen pants were too short, so they all had to wear their pants low. Thank God the jacket covered it. The one groomsmen who tuxedo fitted right went to a different location. SMH My dad pants were too short as well. The groom pants were too big. No matter how much they tried to adjust them. He had to hold pants up while we dance. And the neck of his shirt was too small. They had to use a safety pin to hold thing together. And I’m grateful for safety pins because groomsmen we’re losing buttons before & after ceremony. I wish I could say the staff & management was helpful but all we got was there nothing we can do. The person that does alterations is gone for today. They leave early on Saturdays. I’m like really. Thank God for friends & family stepping in patching, taping & pinning whatever they could to make work for the moment. When we return 5 of tuxedos today I talked to one of the store manager about all our issues. Which she knew about most of them, she said I can only give you $40 back for all the issues, I cannot go any higher. I states I wasn’t happy & to give me corporate number. She say hold on I can give you $80. I told I don’t want anything for free; however, I expect to get what I pay for. She told me she don’t have corporate number in the store. Another employee said he thinks it’s on one of the cards & gave me one. Then she decided to tell me what to say to corporate, saying it was a hub issue. She said that they do the measurements and the hub always mess them up. I said well if you guys know that a problem, fix it. But please don’t try to put or point blame to someone else. Take accountability!!! I suggest you think twice before using these guys. It like to ruin my wedding day! I crop photo to hide my nephew face. I wish I would have taken pictures of everything but I was just trying...
Read moreBEWARE -- worst decision I made while planning our wedding. DO NOT USE Men's Warehouse!! We originally started at the Athens store as it was the closest to our location. The sales associate was young and rude and I should have known then that we should have gone somewhere else. But the store manager at the time Jeff came in and sincerely apologized for the problem and convinced us to stay. The suits we got for the wedding were purchased suits first off! When were were talking about these suits I explained day one that we had a broad range of size in our bridal part... theyy assured me this would not be a problem! WRONG!! The suits they sold me were "set" suits, meaning that what ever size jacket you by your pants are the same size!! This does not work on men that are larger!! This was a nightmare in terms of alterations and that was an even worse experience at this store. The alterations lady is rude!! RUDE, RUDE!! She doesn't listen and stares at you blankly when you tell her what you want!! DO NOT USE HER!!! Go to an outside source if you buy from them!! She is horrible and her work is crap! We had problem after problem. Two of my groomsmen's suit went missing from the stores and they claimed we had picked them up and not signed for them we would have to repurchase them!! BULLSHIT!! They had to reorder them on their dime not mine!! I lost my mind at this point! Several of my groomsmen had ordered the suspenders for the suit that we chose ... after calling multiple times even up until 1 day before the wedding and the suspenders were "still not in" ... guess what they were NEVER ORDERED!! the worst service! The worst experience and the worst decision we made while planning!! BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! We will never use them again and no one getting married from our party will either because of this horrible experience!!! I have emailed and written the corporate store as well with no...
Read moreEmbarrassing customer service at the Athens branch. They called me two weeks before the event to ASK whether my groomsmen's suits were ready...I politely told them that was their job to tell ME that. Put me on hold, checked a computer, then confirmed the suits were all ready. Starting off great.
Suit was ready at the store a week before, we called to check, then it was sent back unnoticed. The day before the wedding they had no idea where it was. Crew on Friday said it was the manager's fault and they'd overnight it and get it the next day, 11 am latest for a 3 oclock wedding. Had to pay AGAIN for a suit that should've already been there; they told us it would be refunded.
Day of the wedding we get called and show up, manager had no idea what was happening until this morning, took no accountability and just kept reiterating he didn't know. Failure in leadership, take responsibility, you're in charge, and your staff clearly doesn't like you. Threw his staff under the bus to weasel out, I hope they get to read this.
On the way out, we had to request a discount and eventually received the rental for free. Minutes later, cousin said it was a great day for a wedding...manager said no it wasnt cause it might rain and UGA was playing. Right in front of the groom who was getting married in a few hours. I am clueless as to how he got into leadership or customer service. Nepotism? Attrition? Pure dumb luck? Its a mystery.
When a groomsman goes to drop the suit off, he walks in with 7 suits and isn't helped with them, said staff awkwardly looked at him and didnt offer to help carry them, pointing him to the back of the store to a rack. Just icing...
