This is the absolute greatest establishment I have ever entered. My husband and I wandered in exactly at closing time; however Ms Cindy invited us in and allowed us to take our time and choose the mattresses that we wanted. I absolutely fell in love with a particular brand however I needed 3 and could not afford a multi-purchase on that particular brand. After purchasing another brand that was absolutely amazing and within my budget... we left the store completely satisfied with product as well as the professionalism that our salesperson displayed. The following day, the owner blessed me with another option and made it very affordable to get the 3 Matresses that I originally wanted! This company has went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations in customer service!!! Hands down this is the most relaxing transaction I have ever made with a large cash purchase. While Dave was very friendly and helpful, I am just overall Very unpleased with my experience with Metro Mattress. I had my mattress delivered and they tore up the walls. We do have a difficult staircase and the delivery guy told me he didn’t know how to get the box spring up the stairs. I simply told him to leave it and we would do it ourselves. He didn’t listen and forced it up, leaving multiple scratches, dents, and damages (and ripped my brand new box spring). We were offered a two pack of “$80” pillows as compensation. I googled the pillows I received (serta 2pk gmf cluster pillow ecom) and they are about $16-$20 everywhere online. Not to mention, the mattress I received, is much stiffer than the one I laid on in the store. I was excited to be supporting a family owned business, but wish I would have gone somewhere else now. We were greeted when we went into the store by Cyndi and she asked us what type of mattress we were looking for. My wife likes the plush type and I am a medium type. Cyndi showed us quite a few that were in between these 2 types. Also we checked out a few different bases and then was left with making a decision on what we wanted. We still had a few places to still go before we wanted to purchase. Cyndi wrote all the information on what we narrowed it down to and gave us her card. Several days later we decided on going with Metro and called Cyndi, who was out of town at the time, and was able to get everything handled over the phone so we did not need to drive an hour back to Athens.
