I went in there yesterday with my friend and it was a terrible experience. The lady was extremely criticizing and rude in her comments. She even said I may have to go up a size also, which I found very rude. I ultimately picked 4 dresses to try on and she had this whole hassle about the zippers and the dresses because I said I was going to do it myself. She literally had a freak out moment and told us to leave, so we did. You guys will never ever receive any service from me or my friends, and I will definitely spread the word on the store. I tried to give it another try from my experience last time, but it was even worse this time. I get that she may be trying to do what is best for the store, you have to be considerate and help customers or you won’t have any money to fund the store. 1 star!! If you are telling me now that I received your best customer service, then that in itself is a problem. You are correct. You are not like a Macy's because when I actually went there, I had the most amazing customer service, kind words, and professional help from them in an actual nice way. My daughter and I went into this store to spend time one afternoon looking at prom dresses (nothing else in the mall to look at anymore). She already had a prom dress at home but had ordered online and wanted a 'try on in the store' experience. To be honest we were both a little scared as we had heard bad things about this store, but were willing to give it a try. We were helped by a young lady, Fatima, who was such a delight. She was so very helpful in guiding us to the dresses that were for our appropriate event and size. The racks were absolutely FULL of dresses!! We pulled about 6 out of the racks and Fatima helped my daughter get them on (very boutique like). Once we tried on our choices, Fatima said she had a few to suggest based on my daughters likes and body styles. That was when we found THE DRESS!! Fatima nailed it when she picked out that dress! We were all in agreement that it looked great. I was worried about the cost (the dress we chose was $400) but they have layaway so that was helpful. Came in looking for dresses with my sisters. The lady at the desk was the only there. We were mentioning how we were looking for dresses for her birthday and she asked if we had an idea for the party. We mentioned that we were looking for the dress first before planning the rest, and she just kept asking if we had the party planned. Then she appeared irritated with us even though we hadn't been in the store for even 5 minutes. She asked us if we were waiting on our mom or if our mom was coming, and we mentioned no since me and my older sister are both visibly adults. Then we go and pick out a dress, and we decide to try it on. Now, after reading some reviews I see that there's an unspoken policy about accompanying customers in the changing rooms for dresses. This needs to be spoken and mentioned. Because a grown woman should not be walking in with my minor sister into a changing room. With 0 explanation.
