Kevin has absolutely no customer service skills or initiative to even do his job. He seemed like he was in a bitter mood today. I came in to exchange items and buy new items, since the store has been closed. From the beginning, he was completely disrespectful, yelling at my mother to back away from him, while we were trying to return an item (we all had masks on and were no where near him). He took one look at our never been touched boots (too big for my father), and threw it back at us saying we cannot return without a receipt. He didn't offer to look up our card or any information. He replied to every question with (I don't know, while leaning against the back of the counter with his arms folded). I wasn't going to take his attitude, so I preceded up stairs where they returned my item with no problems with my information. The ladies up stairs were very kind and tuned into their work. Unfortunately, we made our way down stairs near Kevin again, and my mother asked him for a price and what the sales were today. His reply was "I don't know", while he was still leaning back against the counter with his arms folded. This is when I grew impatient. There were no other customers in sight, and he wasn't doing anything nor did he seem to want to at all. I simply said, "well isn't it your job to know or find out? You are still working and you aren't helping anyone. ". He replied with more of an attitude, "That's not my job. I just do returns. There's plenty of other associates". I replied, "There's no need to be rude. Can't you ask someone to help us then, I know you have a phone behind the counter?". He's final aggressive reply, "No, I'm not being rude" (head shaking in a sassy manner and arms still folded). At this point, I was completely fed up and asked him to call a manager. The manager didn't show for a good 10 minutes (I had children with me), so I just let it be, and continued shopping for the things I know I needed without any help or greets of any manner. Finally, I saw the manager walking by, so I asked to speak to him. I told him what happened. He just said, "thank you for your feedback" with no apology or asking if we still needed help and seemed to be focused on other things. I wanted to leave at this point, but I still unfortunately needed to find a couple things. It seems that the only people that care about customers are the people making commission and the very sweet and attentive...
Read moreWhile shopping at this store my husband was at the perfume counter searching for something to buy as a gift. The woman working watched him walk around the counter and pick up a few different boxes while saying nothing to him. He proceeded to take the lid off one sitting on the counter so he could smell it, and at that point she stepped forward to say to him "now that you've opened it, this is now a used product." She had been watching him without saying a single word for over 5 minutes, and there were no other customers at the counter. If she was interested in assisting him as a customer and confirming which already unboxed items were testers versus for sale, she could have easily just asked if he needed assistance and directed him accordingly. When going through the checkout, the cashier spent the entire time talking to another co-worker about steak and ribs and said not a word otherwise. I get working in retail isn't super fun, and customers can be draining at times. It would have been nice though to actually be acknowledged at the cash register and to not be treated like a criminal at the perfume counter (honestly, after that first issue, we shouldn't have bothered spending money in the store and just avoided the cashier too busy to talk to customers all together). Overall, the customer service at this store was completely non-existent, and when the store joins the rank and files of hundreds of others closing due to lack of business, I absolutely will...
Read moreCustomer service at the shoe department is none existing. I should start asking for a paycheck. I decided to walk out instead. I had two different shoe styles that I wanted to buy. I have the app, so I was checking to see if I could get them at the store. The app said that my local store did not carry them. I decided to go either way. I come in and they had them. They also had the other two styles, that were also sold out online. I grabbed the two I wanted and the other two I wanted on a different size. I proceeded to look for a sales rep. I found him and waited while he spoke to a customer. He turned back around and asked âwhat do you need?â I asked if he could check to see if they had the two styles I had on my hand for the size I needed. He proceed to say that I needed to check myself. To download the app and check to see if âmy store has them.â I explained that I did and it said they didnât have them. He proceeded to say well obviously we donât. I explained that the app also said they didnât have the shoes I had with me. He proceeded to say that he never said the app was correct. So I asked if he could check, to which he said he would not. I thank him and walked out. I debated purchasing the other two, but the way he treated me I decided against it. I have seen him before and he always goes out of his way for certain customers. But not for all. I guess I am not...
