This is a very OK UPS Store.

I would have given 2.5 stars if I could, but I went with 2-stars after looking at other reviews and seeing that my experience seems to not have been just a one off.

I've never had any serious issues here, however, I have to speak about some experiences I've personally had that align with the uncaring and somewhat immature nature of the employees at this branch that others have also experienced.

Particularly, I went in there one day, and saw an employee literally TOSSING packages into a pile behind the desk (I'm not talking 1 or 2 -- closer to 5 or 6). When I approached the desk, I said "this package is fragile, please regard it as such." They seemed to treat the package well, but it made me a little bit worried about dropping packages off there.

Then, today I had a conversation over the phone with an employee -- not awful, but still didn't leave a pleasant taste in my mouth.

Particularly, I spoke to the employee about how I dropped off 3 packages -- 2 USPS and 1 UPS -- the other day. 1 of the USPS packages has already been delivered, but the other one wasn't even scanned. I think an acceptable response would have been "unfortunately, we don't scan USPS packages, so you may be better off calling USPS about that one."

Instead, the response I got was "I don't work at USPS. I can't make any guarantees about USPS packages. This is UPS. For USPS packages you have to call USPS."

This, in my opinion, is pretty distasteful and, at the very least, slightly disrespectful, even if that wasn't the intention. I know that UPS isn't USPS (obviously), but since you all accept USPS packages, my question wasn't out of line.

I think the staff at this UPS are relatively inexperienced/young, and that may have something to do with it, but I think it would do well if management came in and, perhaps, retrained some of their employees on handling customers and their packages.

Not all of my interactions with this UPS branch have been poor, but these stick out more to me than any 'above and beyond' experiences, so I do think they need to...

Get this. It's a week before Christmas and I arrive 5 minutes before closing time to find them locked and inside vacuuming and closing the registers. All I need to do is drop a pre labeled UPS package in the UPS box just inside the door. No biggie. Unlock the door, come over take the box and we're done. It can be placed in the box. Easy.

No, it's never that simple is it. They proceed to look at me with disdain as I peer inside like a hungry wet orphan. So simple. Just take the package. I knock. I'm ignored. I point at my iphone's clock to show it's not 7pm yet. I'm ignored.

Anyway a security guard for the center comes over and alerts me that it's actually just hit 7pm and asks how long I've been standing there. Five minutes I say and he knocks on the door.

Finally with the added peer pressure of a security guard one of the lazy bones behind the counter begrudgingly waddles over and takes my package without making eye contact, or a greeting and closes the door in my face just as I finish saying "Merry Christmas."

The security guard looked at me in all earnestness and said, "Ma'am, I'm so...

I switched to this UPS store from another local UPS store over 2 years ago. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner. I get 8 to 20 packages weekly. Their service is the best I have had and their staff is incredible. I think some of the comments here are not an accurate reflection of the long term quality service I have received. I have watched their handling of other customers while waiting in line and have been impressed with their knowledge of the job duties and the professional manner in which the customers are treated. Each person is always given the time they need to complete the transaction, I never see them rushing a customer. When my turn comes I get the same attentive service. They keep my many packages safe, the tracking numbers sorted, always ready to go. They always check to be sure nothing else has arrived that hasn't yet been checked in. Their service and careful attention to detail is greatly appreciated!! Don't pay any attention the the snarky comments, the folks at this store...
