Super 1 Foods Athol — Local services in Athol

This is a decent store but does not contain a super wide variety of many types of foods. The one complaint I have is that despite my several requests young folks who bring the shopping carts in from the parking lot fail to check the electric carts for the handicapped and make sure they are plugged in. One manager in particular who I have spoken with on about three occasions keeps dismissing and shining me on with a stern look, telling me they're doing the best they can but that's baloney because almost every time I visit this store there is one or more carts that have not been plugged in. Management does not impress upon younger employees to make a concerted effort to keep checking those carts every time they walk in the door. Most of the time, the staff is super friendly and amazing. Today, I went in, and maybe everyone is just tired of being very busy. But I just feel like the level of courtesy or friendliness wasn't there. One of the workers which I'm not sure if she's a manager or not was near me and I had asked a question, and she just, wasn't really friendly and many would have likely percieved her response as rude. I went about my purchase, and while checking out, I said may I make a suggestion and explained, and the cashier states, "I just work here." Maybe times are changing, but when I was in a customer service role, the responses from both staff members were extremely substandard. WARNING: WATCH WHAT YOU'RE BEING CHARGED AT THE REGISTER! And keep track of what the sale price is that is posted or take a picture. MANY times I have had to point out the discrepancy. Produce department most of all isnt getting sale prices put in the computer. Most cashiers are nice about it but I have overheard one complain about a customer after she left because she made everyone wait for 18 cents. It's the principle- 18 cents here and there all day adds up! My cashier today said she had been selling the particular item all day and no one had noticed the problem until I pointed it out.
