Country Boy Cafe — Restaurant in Athol

I used to eat here three times a week the prices used to be good and the portions were pretty decent I don't know if it's the new owners or what but now when I come here they charge $15 for a burger and onion rings pretty ridiculous when it's not even a hand packed fresh Burger but a Frozen patty I can go to Bells brunch House literally less than 10 minutes away and get much more quality food for 11 bucks they have fresh patties there nice hot onion rings the service is amazing I don't know what happened to country boy I wanted to go back to the way it was I would rather give local people my money than some people down the road especially the fact that at the other place they seem to care about freshness not serving Frozen patties country boy used to give fresh patties and their prices weren't this bad please go back to the way you used to be although I'm sure they don't care because it's the only place in town to get breakfast and they are always packed you literally can't go anywhere unless you want to drive 15 miles so they kind of got this town...

What can I say. Let me start out by saying the food would have tasted better if the tall blonde toothless cook that "looks like she has had way to many hard drugs would have not cursed so much and so loudly. The servers were attentive and I asked about the foul mouth behind the stove. I was given that, "I don't know what to say look". The place seemed to be clean but I just can't get over that foul mouth woman in the kitchen and that ruined the taste of the food and the peace I would of liked while eating my meal. needless to say I will never eat at this place again. If you wanna let your inner fat kid out and run around this is the place to go. This little hidden gem is off the main route of hwy 95 just one exit after Silverwood theme park. Great service, great hospitality, makes ya feel at home when at this place. I had the Irish Benedict the first morning, second morning same thing but instead of English muffin substituted for cornbread and I'll tell you what that's a game changer. It's so good it will wanna make ya slap your momma. Tried this place for dinner as well and had a French dip and tried the meatloaf with a side of onion rings, hands down not a single disappointment.
