Arts Center — Local services in Atlanta

Since I moved here 4 months ago, I've noticed that the station is clean. However, the drivers for the 110 bus take their time getting to the bus when leaving the station. For example, if the bus departure time is 8:41 am, the driver doesn't get to the bus until 8:45 am, and the bus doesn't leave until 8:51 am.

I believe that if people rely on public transit and schedule their commutes based on the times given by Marta, we should expect better customer service. From drivers wanting to finish conversations to telling passengers they need a break, it seems like the commitment to the commuters is lacking. Arts Center is a lovely station situated in the heart of Atlanta's arts district. This station is very close to the HIGH museum and is about a 10-15 minute walk from Piedmont Park. Vending machines for snacks and drinks that take card and apple pay. Very safe environment with constant MARTA security presence. Trains are very rarely delayed and can be expected every 10 mins during the weekdays. Download the MARTA app! $2.50 fare one way, $5.00 round trip but I use the monthly unlimited pass for $95.00. Marta Arts train station is on the Gold line. From Doraville Train station, it’s the third or fourth stop. I’ve never boarded any other train outside of Georgia, but besides the regular commuters and random dwellers it’s actually a clean safe place as long as you don’t get too friendly with people. Always stay alert. There the Marta Police, security, & Marta employees who can usually be helpful. But other than that always plan ahead when traveling to Atlanta.
