I’ve been feeling with some health issues (behind the scenes) for about a month now, and it’s done a number on my energy, immune system, and body. So I was in Atlanta for my friend’s 40th birthday blowout, and I made the mistake of going out the night before with friends I hadn’t seen in ages. Naturally I needed to “rally” for another night of indulgence. Fast forward to the next day, and I felt as if I’d been hit by a bus. Anyway, I googled “hangover IV” and god shined his light upon me with Hydralife showing up as the nearest location for hydration - intravenously of course. My IV is on its final drips now, and I already feel better. The staff is friendly and they laugh at my jokes about being so hungover. The chairs are comfy and the lights in the IV cubicles are dimmable (although I still had to wear sunglasses bc still sensitive to light). Regardless, the dimmer was a nice touch. I just left the location on North Highland. I went with my sister and a friend of hers who is from out of town. The policy is that walk ins can be seen before 5:00 p.m. We walked in at approximately 4:40. The young lady told me that we couldn’t be seen for today because they have 3 more appointments and we have a larger party than is typical. We had a party of 3. Each room is furnished for 2, so I understood that part. I responded that I could wait for a different day and let my sister and her friend from out of town be serviced today, especially because my sister gets the IV bags as a part of her cancer treatments.
