This place is over an hour from me and it is so worth the drive.
I have been for 2 classes. One for me and one with my kids. My first visit I was nervous because I can't art. The class was informative and overall very encouraging. The visit with my sons was definitely the best so far. They loved making their sculptures and their teachers were excellant and so doting. They even helped me snag a kit from another class going on
For us, going to The Supermarket and The Bakery is very much a magical city adventure. Finding the right door, following the signs down the hall to the stairs to another hall and then it opens up.

Read moreWent to an event there last night. It’s a cool eclecticplace but the rest was not a great experience for a multi/venue place. Chairs are hard metal and the noise from the other venue was terribly loud as the only thing Separating the venues is a curtain so we heard loud laughter from the other venue throughout our performance. Secondly, the air conditioning in the room we were in, kept going on and off and was so loud and disruptive. Plus, the sound system in our venue and the lighting was very rudimentary. There’s not much choice of food there except of vending machine. Just a lot of missed opportunities and I really don’t understand how this place will survive renting out performances spaces to multi people at...
Read moreThe Supermarket was wonderful! We hosted an exhibition of student work and they were flexible, communicative, helpful, and just all around lovely to work with. It meant so much to our students to have work out there in the world, and the event we hosted on opening night went smoothly thanks to the dedicated team! The vibe of the place is just straight up cool, and so many people complemented the space. Can't recommend them...
