I no longer recommend this place. I'm a simple customer that has been coming here for years and I always order coffee with vodka.
Mostly I come during the day shift and the bartenders all make it without issue when I request.
Then there's the night shift. over a 3 week or 21 day When I came in the bartender at night would tell me that they had no coffee.. As in no coffee in the bar's inventory and no coffee in the building. I would remind him that I order my electrified coffee all the time with no problem during the day and I would be happy to tip more because that was my drink. He again told me that they NEVER had coffee.
I then proceeded to ask him why it is that all the other bartenders make this specific drink for me with no issue and without back and forth but he simply denies the product even exists in the store. I told him that after 21 days it feels personal and like he is specifically denying me service.
This upscale gentleman then proceeded to go back and forth with me annoying me to the point I actually raised my voice. At that point he was deserving because I knew I was being discriminated against and that he was lying to my face. Apparently the task was so laborious for him it was worth three weeks of the denials. Obviously, he had no idea I was a regular in the day.
When I raised my voice did he finally stated that he doesn't make coffee for anyone admitting that they did indeed sell coffee there. This guy is a bartender that doesn't make drinks he decides he doesn't want to make? Even when the establishment clearly serves it? It doesn't make sense...
Then to match his unprofessionalism the overconfident manager not realizing how rude, UNTRUTHFUL, and unprofessional this person had been with me proceeded to back him up and kick me out of the establishment for raising my voice.
I experienced discrimination. Whether the guy refused to serve me because of my race or just because I wasn't HIS regular and he didn't care is also irrelevant. He didn't say: "I don't know how to make coffee." He didn't say "I don't know how they make it here" or "I don't know how to use the machine." He SAID:: "We don't have it." over a period of three weeks....usually being asked on the same days I'd been served that very drink by the day shift by bartenders with less time working at the bar. The math is he lied to me consistently when politely asked for the service knowing that the establishment and all the other bartenders provided that service.
DO NOT spend your money here. Even if you are a long-standing patron the entire team does not have the collective professionalism to recognize that and treat you with respect.

Read moreI decided to eat at The Righteous Room after seeing a movie at the Theater and i was happy with my experience. The Righteous Room is your typical bar restaurant— you have to be 21 to patron the bar and you walk in a sit down. A lot of people there are just there to drink and get drunk so expect that kind of crowd. My friend and I ordered the nachos and I really enjoyed them!! I got the wings and He got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with the potatoes wedges. Let me first say the potato wedges are super crispy, well seasoned and yummy. Honestly not like a normal wedge more like a less fried potato chip they were really addicting!! I got the Honey Garlic wings— they were very crispy but they honestly didn’t have much honey or garlic flavour— they tasted more like buffalo to me. Either way i enjoyed my food and was satisfied with my experience at the...
Read moreAstounding behavior from the joke of a staff. The idea behind a bartender is they make you feel welcome or at least see your arrival as an opportunity to stay in business and pay their rent, not be rude to strangers and get rid of their pent up aggression! The bartender literally threw our IDs back across the bar when he was next to us and the bar was empty; aggressive tones, passive aggressive statements, the works; this wouldn’t be unexpected from a stranger, but someone in the service industry? It’s almost funny, but this isn’t that restaurant where the staff is intentionally rude as a joke. Bartenders- if you want to make a living, if somehow you enjoy that job, go work out your issues in therapy, not on customers. You can pay me if you want me to set foot in this dump again. In the meantime I’ll go somewhere I’m...
