Monkee's of Peachtree Battle — Local services in Atlanta

Needless to say I will not be returning here. I came a few months ago and spend a nice amount. Didn't receive great service then, but I wanted the items. When you are going to a boutique you should feel welcome and I did not. I felt judged for the way I was dressed. Sorry , I wanted to wear comfy clothes to run errands. So I went for Sip and sale and again bad customer service. There were literally 4 people working behind the counter and not one greeted me or asked to help me. I saw them offer their friends with champagne but not once was I spoken too. They we're not busy, only a few in the store. I was made to feel as though I was Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. As she said, Huge Mistake!! I could have spend a lot of money here. It's not right,that I was made to feel less than. I know they saw me, they looked right at me. Cute clothes and reasonable prices, but poor customer service. I’m always surprised when people working in retail have an attitude towards customers. When I walked in to find some last minute sweaters before my Deer Valley trip, most of what I saw were spring/summer clothes. I asked the clerk if they had any warmer items for cold weather, and she scoffed with a sneer “They’re all over the place, you just have to look.” Obviously that wasn’t true as only 10% of the store was for cold-ish weather. I normally shop at Barneys, Saks and Nordstrom but I’m trying to give local shops more of a chance. I prefer Tootsies and Luna over this place for nicer clothes and prefer Fabr’k for cheap but cute...

I don’t normally write reviews, but after reading these reviews, I have to add my two cents. Not everyone likes to be greeted upon entering a store - I personally prefer the freedom to be left alone to browse. I visited this store in May, and no one greeted me until I had picked out a few things to try on. The salesperson was very friendly and got me a fitting room, coming back whenever she saw I had picked out more items.
