I have been in and out of personal training for years across a variety of cities and I have so much respect for Ramon as a personal trainer. He is outstanding.
Where do I even begin?
FORM - Ramon is a stickler about form when doing reps and exercises. He reinforces movements by talking me through them so that I know when I'm doing them correctly and incorrectly. That way, in the future, I can catch myself and avoid injury when working out on my own.
TROUBLESHOOTING - if I ever complain of a popping knee or weak hip, Ramon troubleshoots exactly what's wrong. I've never had someone watch with such level of detail to the strength and movement of each muscle. He's better than some physical therapists I've been to! His ability to isolate muscles and target them in exercises has helped me correct any muscle imbalances I've had that show up in my gait or shoulders.
GOAL ORIENTED - Ramon listens. He listens to my lifestyle habits and patterns and tries to make workouts practical and useful for my life. For example, I travel often for work and as a petite female, he's made sure we spent some time building arm strength so I could lift my suitcases into the overhead bins on airplanes. That's super useful and something I never would have thought to ask for during a workout, but yet something for which I'm immensely grateful.
