As a Foodie living in Atlanta, I was so excited to check this place out with my good friend on a Friday night based on some of the great reviews I heard. First of all, the atmosphere is a vibe as I loved the R&B music being played by the female DJ that was spinning on the 1's and 2's giving it a club vibe...Loved it! The parking situation sucks, so you have to drive around until you find off street parking (2 hours - $4, but I believe it's free after 7pm). I did notice a parking deck next to it, but don't know if that is open to the public or just for the building residents. The service was unwelcoming as our Asian female server named "Minnie M" who came to our table just stared at my female friend the entire time and asked what she wanted to drink and then proceeded to walk away. I immediately stopped her and said, "excuse me, but I would like a drink as well." At this point, it already put a bad taste in my mouth, but as an International person who was born overseas, I realized that maybe this was part of her culture where she doesn't look at the man when they are with a woman (learned that from that show "Match me Abroad" on TLC..LOL). At any rate, that's no excuse. When in Rome do as the Romans do! I love my international people, but they need to hire staff that know how to better communicate and engage with ALL their guests. I told her this was our first time dining here and she just looked at me with a deer in the headlights look and like a stump on a log (weird). Now for the food..oh boy, it missed the mark for me. First of all, don't advertise this as a "$$" price rating. It should be changed to a "$$$" rating. I'm not cheap and don't mind paying high dollar for fine dining restaurants, but the food here was undesirable and left me with stomach cramps. The food is overpriced and lacks quality and flavor! When I asked the server what was a good appetizer, she recommended the Calamari stating that it was a popular dish. We also ordered the Chicken Dumplings. When we received our appetizers, I thought we were being Punk'd. The portion of Calamari was small and rubbery and lacked flavor; however, the Dumplings were delicious. I highly recommend those, but pass on the Calamari. Now to our entrƩes. My friend ordered the Pad Thai Lobster and Shrimp and I had the Fried Snapper. My friend seemed to enjoy her meal, but she wasn't impressed. Me on the other hand, while we both received beautiful plates, my meal LACKED FLAVOR. Specifically, the meat from my fish was pulled off the carcass and fried in pieces. The meat wasn't seasoned and that should have been the star of the dish. I only ate half the meal and took the rest home, but will probably trash it. I hate wasting food and for $48.00 I should have enjoyed every bite! When the bill came they automatically add 18% tip, which is ridiculous to me, because our server didn't deserve that. Sounds like they are running games up in there! Oh yeah, just FYI, if you make reservations, they hold $40.00 on a credit card, so make sure you show up or they will charge you! Finally, if I do go back (no time soon), I will probably just go there to listen to the great music and have drinks and appetizers at the bar.

Im going to tell you right now Im here for the fried riceā€¼ļø Best Thai food I have had in ATL so far!

I went on a Tuesday around 6:00PM.

Location It is located near Piedmont Park in a suite on the corner of a tall building. There are flowers on the front to help identify the place, but it is still hard to find while driving. The restaurant is facing a one way street so navigation was annoying. I pasted the place 2 times before I realized where it was.

Parking is typical ATL trash- on the street. There is 2 hour parking next to the building however it is only 7AM to 7PM. I found free parking a block up along the street.

This was my first time visiting this place. Even though it was after work on a tuesday the place was nearly empty. My party was the only one there for a good minute. So we had some good Peace and Quiet šŸ‘šŸ½

Total was $159.90 (šŸ“ø) I got 4 Strawberry Margaritas šŸ¹, 2 bottled waters, Thai Chicken Wings, Smoked Duck Panang šŸ¦†, Cucumber Salad, 2 Basil Fried Rice.

Pricing is average for downtown ATL. Get a lot- spend a lot. Most entrees in the high teens or low twenties. One person will spend at least $20-$40 here on one meal. Gratuity is included regardless of party size.

Pros: Happy Hour! Ends at 7:00PM if I'm not mistaken. Week days only. Drinks and appetizers from $7. I ordered 4 as soon as I walked in before the price went up. šŸ˜Ž

Even though it was after work on a tuesday the place was nearly empty. My party was the only one there for a good minute. So we had some good Peace and Quiet šŸ‘šŸ½Even when people came in it never got really loud.

The food was great I must say! The cucumber salad was fresh. I loved how they cut the cucumber giving it ridges and the salad dressing they used was delicious and rich. Not like other places who give watered down dressing and badly chopped veggies.

The rice!! Baby I will be BACK for that rice! It was SO good! The rice was cooked hibachi style (fresh off stove) with the perfect amount of flavor! Some thai food can be too strong with herbs or really spicy but this one was PERFECT! The fried rice is definitely one of those dishes you get to-go anytime you are near!

The service was great! Our waitress made sure to continuosly check on us and kept us up to date on waiting time for the food. She gave suggestions and was very friendly. I love how they didnt ignore us because we were the only ones in the restaurant. A+ šŸ‘šŸ½

Cons: That parking is going to KILL it everytime I tell you! No one wants to struggle to find parking just to eat. They need to run a valet, obtain a lot somewhere, or give a map/clear instructions on where to park in the area.

Would I Recommend: If you can find a parking space then it's a no brainer! Yes! Definitely go! šŸ‘ŒšŸ½ If you want to just pull up and eat without a parking hassel and walking- I would not recommend due to location.

My review may be a little long but I’ll try to 2 it short.I saw bar of Thailand featured on some girls Instagram page and immediately thought this would be a great place to take my husband since he loves this kind of food. Me, I’m not really a fan but I’ll eat low Mein or something of that sort. I looked through the reviews and saw a few things that I should have took into consideration like parking. We couldn’t find any parking so don’t waste your time at azure. Just go to the place where the rainbow is painted on the ground and they valet you for 10 bucks. I made a reservation so I didn’t expect a wait but it took maybe 10 minutes to get seated. We were seated in the very back and the tables were tiny for 2 people. My husband ordered his drink and they brought it and he says it was super good. We order chicken skewers and again I’m not a fan of this food so I let him eat it. He says he loved it and the sauce was everything. I ordered the pad tai and he ordered the chefs special. This is where the issue came in we were seated at 9:30 we didn’t get our food until 11…they were closed. Our waitress Winnie was such a sweetheart that she offered us free drinks but I wasn’t thirsty I was hungry. 2 couples next to us complained and ended up taking 2 bites and leaving. When we did get our food the presentation was nice. I went in for my first bite and hated it to the max! Do not expect it to taste like Chinese food because it doesn’t. I’m not well versed in Asian food but essentially I felt it was the same. WRONG! I sent it back and my husband did what he could with his food. He said also he wasn’t impressed and would have much rather had my plate .we got our check. For his 2 drinks, an appetizer, 1 meal and a sprite our bill was $99. Without gratuity it was $78. Let that sink in. 18% so needless to say with such horrible cooking service I wouldn’t leave too much of a tip and then I hated my food. Everything here is for looks! It’s not good food and the wait is entirely too long! The place is set up lovely but just go take pics, get drinks and go eat somewhere else! I also know I spelled the food wrong but I’m too lazy to care after writing a long review after I tried to make it short. Overall I would not go back and I wouldn’t...
