This experience was truly unexpected before coming here. My date and I were on our first outing together, and we initially chose what we thought was a higher-end restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience fell short, leaving us still hungry and craving something more satisfying. To turn the evening around, I decided to take her to Shake Shack—her very first time visiting one—and this location happened to be the nearest option.
I'm so glad we came because the experience exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful, the staff were mostly friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean when we arrived. We placed our order and initially planned to enjoy our meal on the patio. However, it was getting chilly, and the staff was beginning to close the outdoor seating area, so we opted for takeout instead. In a pleasant surprise, the staff gave us a couple of extra drinks they were planning to discard, and those drinks turned out to be fantastic!
For my date, the visit was a delightful introduction to Shake Shack, and she mentioned she’d definitely return. As for me, although it was my first time at this particular location, I’ve been to several Shake Shack outlets before, and this one lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect. The food was prepared perfectly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience.
I ordered the truffle burger with cheese fries, while she chose the chicken sandwich with bacon cheese fries. Everything was cooked to perfection—the burger patty was well-done, just the way I like it. The only minor improvements I’d suggest are adding a bit more fried onion to the burger and a bit more ice in the drinks. Other than that, the food hit the spot and made for the perfect ending to our date.
The only aspect I’d change is the ability to sit and enjoy our meal at the restaurant, as it felt a bit like they were rushing to close the seating area. However, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. This location left a great impression on both of us, and I’ll...
Read moreThis Shake Shack needs to get back to the basics. This is the second time I have ordered in-person and my food was either never prepared or prepared but not handed to me. When this restaurant first opened it used a text messaging system to notify customers of when the orders were ready. This is not longer an option on the kiosk. Now you must take a number. The problem with this is your food sits and waits in the window without an employee calling your number sometimes. When asked, the extremely rude employee did not apologize but rather said "your order was sitting over there and other people thought it was their order"...like who's fault is that ??? The walk in to go orders get cast aside with the UberEats and DoorDash orders. This causes confusion and inefficiencies. In the past, the store had a shelf for delivery services. I am unsure why that has been removed. In addition to food delays the restaurant is not clean. Go back to the basics of a clean restaurant, with attentive employees who care if customers receive their food. There was one guy, bless his heart, who tried to make it right, but at that point I had been waiting 20 min and could not waste any more time in the filth. There was a manager there a few years ago who ran a tight ship, keep the place clean, and made sure customers received their orders and were satisfied. Management makes a huge difference. The current manager seems to be a peer rather than a boss...

As other reviews suggest, this location has great difficulties with time management. Girlfriend and I waited over 55 minutes for two burgers, fries, and 1 shake. Burger was way over cooked, semi-cold, and the patty was a joke in size (probably 2.5oz before cooked). Then (after getting a text 45 minuets in, and waiting another 10 minutes at the pick-up window) they didn't have our shake with the order. When I asked for said shake, the lady at the pick up window was visibly annoyed. She didn't put any of the extras that come with the churro shake, and rolled her eyes when I asked her to do so. After waiting 55+ minutes, it doesn't take much effort to deliver the food as expected. All of this for +$60!!! It is the absolute worst bang for your buck, when it comes to return on value from money spent. Save yourself time & money by going right next door to Willy's. Trust me, you'll thank me later. Something needs to change at this location, and FAST. This is 2nd Atlanta area location that has a hard time delivering burgers & shakes of any decent quality. WAKE UP...
