Such a cute store where you can buy so many locally made items! There are items that range from jewelry, soaps, clothes, cutting boards, pottery, and more. And all of it is made by artists. It’s cool how it’s set up in there because each artist has their own little area of merchandise. The manager was a super nice lady. This is a great place to buy gifts for people!

We took the 9am tote class and 1:30pm pouch zipper bag class. Both were great. The tote class was a bit more advanced than my current skill level and the owner was incredibly kind and patient. The pouch zipper bag is great for all levels and we had a great time. I would highly recommend a class and shopping here. So many great artists and products! ❤️

I have been a supporter of the Beehive ATL for a few years now. The workshops are my fave! I have taken cooking, crafts and sewing workshops. What I enjoy most is the attention that the instructors provide. They are very encouraging and knowledgeable. Keep up the great work! See you all soon! A few photos from Workshops I’ve taken.

Signed up for Bee Creative: Artisan Foods. Cocktail Infusions+ Gourmet Finishing Salts class. The instructor (the owner sister) customer service is horrible. Dealing with food you would think they would provide gloves, during this class we were told they didn’t have enough gloves so we can only get one a piece. While passing me my glove she handed it to everyone else which defeat the purpose of me needing a glove. Why would I want everyone else to touch my glove that I need for my food. The seasoning should have been put in individual containers. Once again everyone in the class touching the seasonings with their hands no gloves. We had to share one lemon ( everyone touching on the lemon no gloves) Finally we was asked to leave any unused seasonings on the table so that it can be recycled. Why would anyone want to reuse any food item and use it later for another class. There was not enough ingredients for the whole class. I was just shocked that the instructor showed no concern in food safety. When getting the ingredients for the cocktail infusions the container with the sugar cube, no one had on gloves and of course everyone just put their hands in the container and got the sugar cubes out. Moving forward the instructor should have all the ingredients on a tray, gloves, seasoning in a small individual container hand sanitizer on the table( or individual wipes). When dealing with food it should be a given to show/ practice the basic principles of...

The Beehive is one of the reasons I enjoy this city. A collection of wonderfully talented small businesses under one roof selling unique items year-round. Everything from jewelry to prints to jams to dog biscuits. If you are looking for a gift, check it out.

In fact, this is where I went when I was trying to put together a goodie bag of items that represented Atlanta when visiting friends in Amsterdam. I walked away with a box full of handmade/crafted items ranging from soap to jam and it was nice to say it was all made locally.

Their bi-annual Warehouse Sale is my favorite time to visit. Most of the items are on sale and you can peruse for hours looking at all the great finds.

They also hold crafting classes (jewelry, knitting/crocheting, body stuff, etc).

The place is usually estrogen central but you may see a guy every now and then. He's usually been brought there. There are a handful of crafted items for men. What I saw last time - bear/mustache grooming items, t-shirts and a company that made specialty cufflinks.

The only thing that sucks about going to The Beehive, to no fault of their own, is the horribly designed clusterf*ck that is the Edgewood Shopping District. Real...

Paid for a candlemaking class for Saturday the 16th from 10am-12pm. Made it there 5 minutes before. Ten o clock rolls around and no one is there. Another 19 minutes rolls by and still no one came. So I'm waiting til 11am which is what time it says the store opens. Finally 11am store opens and I'm asking the young lady about the class that I paid to take and she didn't know. She called the manager and the manager said she emailed everyone. Well obviously I didn't receive an email otherwise I would have been home instead of outside in the hot sun waiting to take a class that had been rescheduled. No apologies. The young lady took my email and I was told I would receive an email about the class change but I never received an email. I had to call back on Monday and she was very nonchalant, still no apologies so I just asked for a refund from her class. UPDATE: Received a very nice email from the owner apologizing/explaining. I also found out that the email regarding schedule change went to my spam folder. So I am updating the rating based on my interaction with her. Also I will try again to take...
