The UPS Store — Local services in Atlanta

The absolute love for this location continues. George was the best! I came in about a month ago on a Tuesday (Nov 5, to be exact) and it had been the best but the longest day for no good reason. I had a simple task - ship off a money order, an application, and accompanying drawings and specs so that my company could be featured in a large local event. It ended up being one of those things that my boss asked me to do super last minute, but I guess I'm shooting for employee of the year so I said sure! I was so frazzled when I walked in from all the running around, and the pick up deadline was like minutes away, so I was just like, please help. George took one look at the stuff in my hands and came around from behind the counter, took me to the side table, laid everything out, told me what to do and how to put everything together. He pretty much was like, you're good, hold this. Let me grab this other thing. Yep, just let me do this. Okay, great. Sign here, wait one second, and here's your receipt that it all went through. Everything went off without a hitch and it only took like what felt like seconds. I really appreciate all of the staff here. Efficiency, professionalism and excellence at its best. Thank you so...

This UPS has always been ah-mazing - until today. Sunday Aug 25 at 12:45. Mgmt I really hope you see this and check the schedule b/c the people working were AWFUL to me. There were 3 of them and they all just kept ignoring me. I was the only person in the store.

I was using the self service return center. There was a bag on the counter. Why would I think the bag was for anything else other than the self service counter being that it was on the counter.

I went to give them the box and they very rudely told me that was a UPS bag and it was not free. I explained it was on the self-service counter and one of them smirked and said in a snotty tone “you can’t assume it is free just b/c it was sitting on the self service counter”. Extremely rude all the way around.

Seriously the customer service at this store has been excellent. I hope this crew of workers are not representative of the people now being hired. I live around the corner and happily give this store my business. I truly don’t want to return b/c of how bad they made me feel....

First and foremost, This particular UPS location(Edgewood) is always friendly with fast service. So Kudos to everyone working here! Today(7/6/22), I went to drop off my package, However, as soon as I stepped out of my car my left sandal broke, therefore, I had to walk in bare foot. The female rep. noticed me carrying my sandal with my package and she asked what happened. As we were talking, OC heard us discussing my sandal mishap and he immediately went into action repairing my sandal. He repaired my sandal in less than 15 minutes and I was able to finish the rest of my shopping in the plaza vs. Having to go back home and come back. OC, Thanks so much for helping me when a lot of people would not especially these days. This was beyond customer service, this was just being a GREAT GUY and lending a helping hand when you didn’t have to. I truly appreciate you and your kindness.
