TRIO Custom Clothiers is probably the most popular M2M (made to measure) store in Atlanta (bespoke is different). This store offers intimate one-on-one assistance. Aka, it feels like a bridal boutique, but for men.
I believe Trio is popular because of the following:
Price- Competitive and affordable compared to OTR which would still require alterations which still cannot compared to how comfortable and flattering a M2M suit feels and looks. $500 basically for a 2 piece wool suit if I rememeber correctly with alterations included and expedited shipping.
Fast turn over time- You can get a suit made in 4-5 weeks if rushed (you do have to pay more- slightly) from initial fitting and measurements to the post followups for alteration tweaks (total of 3 visits usually first time around and 2 after since you do not need an initial fitting). And since its not bespoke, the turnover time is faster if you have no patience like me or in a rush for an event.
100% wool option - Most popular now a days (I think they have cashmere/wool blend to)
Lots of choices of fabric, colors of fabrics, and cuts/fit to base your suit on.
Great in person customer service- I love working with Theresa! I love also the privacy and luxury of the 1 on 1 assistance. Even with indochino its M2M but you always have to tweak the clothing once received where here it is included.
Suits photograph very well- see pic
Comfort- M2M is more comfortable than OTF because it will fit you better than OTF ever will. Especially for guys with wierd measurements.
I would recommend offering better quality options like bespoke and italian wool for those who are willing to pay for it :)
I highly recommend this place and will be back for more great pieces to add to my hubbys...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service and prices here are great.
In the past, I always purchased clothing off the rack and just lived with things not fitting well. I switched to getting all of my shirts at Trio and I am happy that I did. There is a huge difference in having a shirt that is custom made to fit me exactly. And on top of that, the prices are very good. The costs are comparable to buying in a department store but with the added bonus of things fitting perfectly each time.
I live near the main Atlanta location so I have gone there to work with them directly. The staff have consistently been great about working with me to get the fit and look that I am going for.
Overall, I am very happy with Trio and I will continue using them for my clothing needs. I started with long sleeve dress shirts but I look forward to branching into pants and suits...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUndoubtedly the best suit I own, and the easiest fitting and selection process I've ever encountered when buying a suit. Choosing my fabrics from the unending swatch book was a bit daunting at first, but the staff was friendly, helpful, and stylish without the air of pretension that usually accompanies fashion know-it-alls.
The showroom is relaxed, unassuming, and reminded me a bit of Gepetto's workshop. When contrasting buying a suit off the rack to having a custom fit from Trio the best choice is obvious. Five star service and products for the same price as department stores, with less hassle and zero intimidation.
As much as I hate to give up what I think is one of Atlanta's best kept clothing secrets, Trio Custom Clothiers deserves to be commended publicly for their...
