We had a bad experience with this place during our visit to Atlanta. I normally don't write reviews but I certainly check them to determine if I will try something or not. The hotel staff gave us the menu as a place we could order from and have it delivered since we were traveling by tour bus. We called and placed twelve orders for delivery. Once the food arrived we were told by the delivery driver that he had been doing his job for over 17 years and there was no need for us to check the orders because he knew it was correct. Unfortunately we were missing one full order and two of the wing orders were incorrect. We called, someone answered and when we explained what happened we were put on hold. No one ever came back to the phone after at least five minutes of waiting. We called back for the next ten minutes only to have someone pick up the phone and not say anything each time. We even called from different numbers and each time they either answered and wouldn't talk or hung up. Finally we got someone to answer and asked for a manager. A man got on the phone and the only thing they acknowledged was that we were missing our pizza. He asked where the wings were and how long it had been before we called. We told him five minutes and his response was that there was nothing they could do since some of the wings had been consumed. Even after explaining how long we tried to reach them and what occurred each time there was no consideration, no apology or explanation of why they weren't answering the phone. Long story short after arguing with the "manager" who was very rude to us and condescending they said they'd deliver the pizza with an extra slice. These people were rude, the wings were dry and the fries were soggy. We spent over $175 at this place and felt completely disrespected. Read moreI would've given 5 stars but due to me being placed on hold 4 times in between the times being hung up on and after a total of 12 minutes and 37 seconds Shakerra finally asks me "How can she help me?" but notNOT apologizing for the long hold time or acknowledging the patience I had by saying THANK YOU. I just went ahead and placed my order for delivery. Of which I gave Shakerra the correct spelling of my first and last name and address, I still had to respell it for her. After placing my order and taking in the rude and disrespectful mannerism, she then hit a nerve and stated (not speaking with proper grammar as if she is from project housing "Your order is over $38, you wanna use a card?" I could've simply gave her but that long wait on hold time, hung up on twice, being placed on hold 4 times, no apology and then this.....I pretty much given her what she gave me and the change of tone in her voice clearly made it known to me she didn't like my lack of politeness towards her. I told her to take off an item to make the order total of lesser value to allow my meal to be delivered. I love Goodfellas and will continue my patronage but management needs to train their staff a little better.
Otherwise that issue my meal arrived in a timely manner, my order was correct and as ALWAYS delicious. My lasagne, stromboli and small salad hit the spot. Would've been better if I had the Greek salad. I love my salad with all the veggies with balsamic vinegarette dressing. And the amount of food I just consumed, a person would be shocked to see my small body frame took in all those delicious carbs and calories lol....losing 85 pounds doesn't STOP me from enjoying a lovely Sunday Italian dinner!!!! Read moreThe customer service & food was awful! When I walked in to see if we could dine in, I didn't like the vibe the unfriendly guy gave when I asked nor did I like the atmosphere. The unprofessional looking cashier played in her hair & on her phone the entire time & was bagging the food. You place your order & then they call your number when your food is ready. That wasn't even done in a friendly manner. After placing the order, I went to the bathroom & it was not clean at all & there was no soap. Water had been put in the soap container to stretch whatever was left. It wasn't even clean enough to squat in! The other restroom was out of order. Most of the fountain drinks were out & the ones available were flat/syrup. I asked the unfriendly cashier if I could pay the additional upcharge to get a bottled drink because the fountain drinks were flat & she said no you have to pay the full price. Not I'm sorry, unfortunately, etc. Just a straight unfriendly no! I should have left the rest of my party there & went about my merry way to spend my coins but we gathered to eat due to an unfortunate situation & that was the closest spot for us to meet! I hate I spent a penny at this establishment! No star is deserved for this restaurant! McDonald's would could have been the meeting spot & that's saying a lot because I don't eat there!
