Please don’t pre-purchase tickets until day of for this location. Only purchase DAY OF! Here’s why if you care:👇
Especially if you may be traveling out of town to visit local family for a holiday special gathering. Even if you purchase 18 tickets and need to cancel 4 because of a sickness(that could make others sick) this business will only extend the date of the tickets —-even though the canceled participants live hours away from location.
They will not issue a refund -even if you chose to only not attend bc of a medical diagnosis that you wish you didn’t even had. (Ugh..sometimes it’s annoying when a kid pops positive for a test that requires them to isolate even though they don’t seem super sick)
Super disappointed at the focus on business and not people here. I understand business. I understand you have a bottom line. You made your decision. We chose a holiday. It may or may not be busy. But 4 tickets would not have killed this company to refund that. (I’m not even a germ fanatic but if they couldn’t let my child go to school like this I figure I shouldn’t let them be in public) Yes my 14 other family members will be going today and my family of 4 won’t be. We can’t even travel to that state to see them(we’re military & live our of state). Super bummer! I genuinely hope they have fun! Regardless,Would I ever support a business like this in the future, never. Will they? Well they have spent the money so they will today bc clearly they couldn’t change their mind. Even if they have fun today, character matters. Kindness matters. People should always be more important than money. (Maybe I’m old school) Will they be unkind today..NO because my family is filled with kind people.
Now- Here’s why I wrote this…Am I annoyed. Yeah?! Could I have kept it myself..maybe. Do I write a review every time something doesn’t go my way?! No! I genuinely leave this so someone else who considers to have a family adventure here - DO NOT PURCHASE EARLY!!!! Only wait until the day of!! Hope I save someone else a $100+.💕
Also maybe this is a business lesson to this establishment. Maybe I still believe in People!! Maybe I still believe that we can be better, do better. Had they had done a refund whether policy or not…they could have impressed 4 families with their kindness. Those 4 families would have shared with their friends and family of the character of this establishment! Instead they made $100+. Was it worth it? Not in my standards. Kindness can often go farther than you could ever imagine...
Read moreI recently visited the Museum of Illusions , and it was an absolutely mesmerizing experience! From the moment you step inside, you are transported into a world of mind-bending visuals and interactive exhibits that challenge your perception of reality. The museum offers a perfect blend of fun and education, as it brilliantly explains the science behind each illusion, making it suitable for both adults and kids. Each exhibit is designed to engage and amaze. Whether it's the gravity-defying rooms or the optical illusions that trick your eyes, there’s something at every corner that left me in awe. One of the highlights was the Ames Room, where you can watch people shrink or grow depending on where they stand – a perfect opportunity for some fun photos! The staff was friendly, and their enthusiasm added to the overall atmosphere. They were more than happy to explain the illusions and even gave tips on how to capture the best pictures. Speaking of photos, this place is Instagram gold! Every illusion is an opportunity for unique and creative shots. The museum is well-organized, with a great flow that allows you to move from one illusion to the next without feeling rushed. Read moreIf you’ve ever wanted to feel like Alice falling down the rabbit hole—or just want an excuse to take 500 confusing selfies—the Museum of Illusions is your spot. Walking in, I immediately questioned everything I thought I knew about reality. One moment I’m normal-sized, the next I’m tiny enough to fit in a teacup. Somewhere in there, I was upside down, and honestly, I think my brain is still trying to recover. 🌀
The exhibits are interactive, mind-bending, and slightly mischievous. Mirrors that lie, floors that don’t exist, rooms where your friends appear to float mid-air… it’s basically Hogwarts meets Instagram. The little spinning tunnel was next-level: stepping in made me feel like I was being gently launched into a dizzying whirlwind of “wait, am I moving or is the world spinning?” I may have wobbled like a newborn giraffe, but it was 100% worth it.
A huge shoutout to the staff—they were amazing and incredibly helpful with pictures. They guided us on angles and poses so that every photo looked epic instead of “me flailing in a spinning tunnel.” They never rushed us, and their patience made the whole experience even more fun.
Perfect for groups, family outings, or anyone who wants to feel like their brain just did a full yoga session, this place is a must-see. You’ll leave with your head spinning, your Instagram full of “wait, what?” photos, and a newfound respect for the power of optical illusions. Fun, dizzying, and absolutely...
